Everyday it seems like wickedness in our nation is esculating as the right is being spoken evil of and the wrong is being embraced as o.k..

Tonight on NBC I saw a short portion of a program that was trying to make the Bible's account of Christ look wrong. I could not watch it. My heart broke. God's word is the only true reality the world can embrace and yet it is being so abused and rejected, changed and mis-quoted. I am sadened that national t.v. would even allow such programing.

A few days ago one of the cities in Michigan had on their ballot on election day a proposal to allow marajuana to be legal if prescribed by a doctor. It passed. Just the night before I heard a Pastor on t.v. tell the public it was o.k. to smoke marajuana in such cases because after all morphine and codine came from illegal drugs. Wow. That floored me. I cried for our nation. That woman was so deceived. Perhaps she is just ignorant at to the effect of marajuana and how it distorts peoples perception and minds. And ignorant as to where this will lead. You see those in the film industry will now, as they already are, begin to incorporate the smoking of marajuana more and more as being the norm. Doctors smoke marajuana, too.

Tonight on the news I heard about the state of Michigan pulling their financial funds away from a very wonderful Christian place geared toward troubled youth. The reason? They refused to stop teaching about Jesus. The place, called Teen Ranch, has been one of the most respected places around for years, now they are being shut out by the government, who is refusing to send wayward youth to their ranch to get them help.

On PBS just this past week a program with Lesbians making an appeal was aired. Movies that have gays or gay themes are being aired more and more.

Church, we need to make up the hedge and stand in the gap like never before! The Lord gave us this nation and we have been given the right to, not only claim it as a nation under God, but also to get involved. Faith without works is dead. Voting, speaking out against the wrong, taking a stand for Jesus are things that our nation is in need of. If we see our brother in need and just tell him we'll pray for him without reaching out to help if we can is dead faith! Our nation is in need! Our children and grand children, should the Lord tarry, won't be able to go to public school much longer because of the lies they are being subjected to and because they will not stop speaking the name of Jesus or tolerate the sin that is trying to engulf our nation. Christians will be persecuted if they refuse to cooperate with those things that go against God.

Jesus is coming!! That thought makes my heart rejoice!!! :-). but please, everyone spread the word to stand in the gap, prayer coupled with action, and show the devil our shield of faith right up beside his ugly head!! Occupy until the Lord comes. Don't be passive. Tell the world Jesus Saves!! He is good and He loves us!! Don't be intimidated by those who want the word watered down or those who try to quiet the Truth. There is only one God, one Lord and one way to heaven! His name is Jesus!!!

Begin right now to prayerfully seek the Lord for the 2006 elections and get those genuine men and women of God seated in our government! Don't let Americas light go out.
