In short, Israel owns all the land. God gave them the irrefutable and everlasting land grant. Archeology alone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Israel was there millennia before Palestine and Muslims.

But, to comment on your question, I would liken it to US property, parks, and heritage sites with the UN flag planted on them. Who owns, operates, and sets the land usage and entrance rules? The answer is interesting.

Legally, global embassies are sovereign nations sitting on foreign soil, so legally and technically, they own that piece of property, have immunity from prosecution for violating any laws of the host country, and have diplomatic immunity. They can build, modify, or do as they will with the property.

Israel is another story. God gave Israel their land forever, and it is against God and their own Jewish law to concede, voluntarily forfeit, or give away any portion of it to anyone. The globe continues to try to partition it into land for peace deals.  

By force, Israel retook control of all Jerusalem in the 1967 War. With a foolish agreement of appeasement, Israel allowed Jordan control of the Temple Mount. Also, for Muslim appeasement and to prevent an Islamic uprising, they are thus far allowing the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque on the probable Temple Mount.

Neither the Koran nor the Hadith make any claims or mention of Jerusalem as a holy site; therefore, the Muslims have no claim it is their 3^rd most holy place.

Some believe the Antichrist is the one who will broker the deal for the 3^rd Temple as part of the seven-year peace agreement he confirms, and it could be. These Abraham Accords are very interesting in that aspect.

Thanks for that segway. Waqf evidently still manages day to day administration ( Of The Dome Of The Rock), and that I think is a Jordanian king family controlled entity still ( Seeking better up to date information from anyone that has  resource on that).

If so and if a POTUS is now visiting Jordan with threats of eliminating all aid to Jordan if it does not take in Palestinians from Gaza and allow POTUS family owned entities  to build at Jordan simple but nice housing for the Palestinians from Gaza, might there be room in negotiations for a taking over of the Dome of the Rock too? Or  the threat anyway?

Who might make a covenent with Israel regarding solving the present day tensions over the Dome of the Rock?

As I quoted Daniel and alluded to, there is no doubt God is using Trump as He did with Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Darius, and every other empire for His timing, plans, and purposes, as well as history written in advance. No one can rightly deny the world is perfectly aligned according to scripture in this generation alone.

I think I mentioned that I wonder if Trump is aware and willing; God is using him as a key player in setting up events to come. Trump’s new establishment of a spiritual advisory office, notably the two he appointed, perplexes and disturbs me. But I worry not; God is still on the throne, in complete control, and changing things.

It is God's hand at work with all of Trump's trumpeted-up legal battles, two miraculous elections, ridiculous felon convictions, and two assassination attempts in short order. Many implications have never happened before in history.

Trump 1.0 initiated the Abraham Accords, along with the Pope and his initiatives; Abraham is the commonality between many of the global woes we face between Little Satan and Big Satan. That accord became popular and successful; it mended some fences and restored some semblance of normalization between a few Muslim countries, especially Saudi Arabia (neutral in the Gog-Magog invasion).

I mentioned that I was an ardent supporter of Trump, but now I am optimistically cautious about my expectations and view of him. Trump 2.0 is coming in as a lion as he said he would. In my lifetime, I have never seen anything so politically aggressive and instant. His history, previous actions, and rhetoric have indicated he is a friend and ally of Israel. This promise has not expired:

Genesis 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Giving land back to the enemy annexed by wars of defensive aggression is against God’s commandment and Jewish Law, a definite no, no. Since May 14, 1948, Israel has violated that commandment a few times. Since then, it has always been land for peace in every negotiation and proposal for Middle Eastern peace. Even a moron like myself knows why that cannot possibly work (oops, a derogatory statement).

In short, I suspect Trump is setting up a framework that both sides can accept and agree on, which will be confirmed and implemented later.

Daniel 9:27 (KJV) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The word “and” above, a conjunction, differentiates and separates the end of the 69^th week and the confirmation confirming the A/C covenant, the official start of the seven years.

At any rate, I do not know how or when God’s plan unfolds, but it is intriguing to follow along with scripture, seeing the season we are living in and witnessing.

Matthew 24:34 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

We could list many Biblical prophecies that have come to fulfillment since 1948, and they are coming on comparatively with a woman in travail.

Hi, well said and interesting too! I do think the signs are coming faster than ever before in this the time of the signs.

I am now kinda expecting, or at least will not be surprised to hear of, a plan for administrative operations (Control over) of the Dome Of The Rock being incorporated by POTUS operatives into the plan for transplanting Palestinians into Jordan ( And Egypt).
