I was having trouble hearing His still small voice one time, and, I asked Him about it and He told me: The more secular entertainment that you watch interferes with your ability to hear my voice and discern it.../

So I watch a lot less secular entertainment now.

That's powerful and speaks to me! (which also goes to show that often His speaking comes through fellow members of His body)

Sometimes He don't answer me. A couple times He has changed the subject (I asked a poor question, lol), Sometimes He'll puts a scripture in my head, Sometimes He answers right away.

If you ask 1000 different people how the Lord speaks to them, you'll get 1000 different answers. I used to pray in the morning and then go to work.

There I was, Lord speak to me, bless my kids and all those and then say my Amen and get up and walk out to work? I wasn't giving Him a decent chance to speak to me. But scripture says we should learn to hear the still small voice of God, so I wanted to do that.

Maybe I can't see Him yet, but no reason I shouldn't be able to hear Him. So I got the idea to don't say my morning Amen, and just invite Him to go with me to work. Talk to Him all day long like He is my best friend. And I would speak and pray, ask Him a question and then pause and listen. and it didn't work at all at first and made me feel like I was playing stupid games.

Then, I'm pretty sure He put the scripture in my head about, you must become as a little child to enter heaven. What do children do? Play games. So suddenly it was ok! I started treating it like a game, but a child's game, where, it's real for the game. The floor is Lava, lol. So I wasnt being a nutball, it was a game! Except it was real. And I did that every day and talked to the Lord literally all day long, except when I went inside a customers house to work. It was at least two weeks and perhaps a month before I could hear His voice.

I started inviting Him in the customers house with me after one day when I had a problem and couldn't find the problem. And He was there instantly when I prayed. I could feel His presence. And...I couldn't hear Him very good yet so no solution came! And I gave up on it and put it back together and packed up my tools and was wondering what am I going to tell the homeowner?! And as I closed my tool box, suddenly the customer had walked up and turned the furnace on...and it fired right up! It all of a sudden did not blow fuses anymore. That was the problem, it had a short to ground somewhere in the low voltage circuit somewhere, and I know how to do that stuff and I couldn't fund it. I was going to leave one last good fuse in it and the power off, (I was almost out of fuses), and the customer turned it on and it ran fine. I still don't know where the short was, lol! So I never thought about leaving Him in the truck again and always brought Him in!

And one day it was like, the still small voice volume had been turned up!  And I began noticing differences in How He talked to me compared to how I talk and think, so it's easy to hear Him now. Now He even wakes me up at night to pray and stuff. He tells me let Him pick a video for me to watch instead of me picking. I am not fond of taking Him to the grocery store with me! Every time that I have asked the Lord, Lord, should I buy this? He says No!

I've shared this a few times on a few different boards, but I bet n one will ever tell me, they tried this way like I did, and it worked? Prolly get 1000 different answers.

Title says it all.

What will it be?

Are you talking about here on earth in the form of prayer, or when you get "home"?

In prayer, it's the same question I always ask:

"Forgive me?"

If it's when I get "home".

"Where's my mom?  She's up here somewhere!"

I used to not share stuff like that because I didn't want to come across like it was a, Thus sayeth the Lord!!! And after awhile He did correct me on it. He said, something about, if I refrain from speaking the truth out of a fear of riducule orpride, then it's the same as refusing to speak the truth.

So I thought, that settles that, and began sharing more of what I know and have seen happen. Testimonies are the best thing going at this time for truth. No doctrines, experiences. People. Most of them dont even take donations. I don't. So what reason is there to lie? No lies!

It's the same thing with the gays and transformers. Their screaming for acceptance in the name of Christian love, but it requires us to accept them and withhold truth from them so it doesnt offend them? Bah!

Time is short anyway. I should post another testimony today. A new one I havent shared yet!

I remained silent for many years, @Edward429451. While it's certainly not needful to share everything, it's good to share that which edifies and builds up. In the beginning, I asked the Lord to judge what I should and should not divulge. Over time His instruction liberated me to judge such matters myself, always keeping in mind what purpose testifying will serve. This pleased Him.

We may ask the Lord whatever we wish at any time, confident that He will answer. He does indeed and just like how He taught me to judge a matter properly, I also learned what He will answer or refuse to answer.

The Lord refuses to reveal when my time upon this earth will end, only that it will; also that when my time has come, He will let me know. This relates to how close I came to the end of my time years ago, only for Him to reverse what was ushering this flesh to the grave.

What does He say? That's not for you to know. All I need to concern myself with is this: walking in what Christ has me doing today. The wisdom of the Lord arms us to overcome this flesh and walk in the Spirit.

Do you truly forgive things I cannot forgive myself for?

or

What did you feel in your final moments on the cross. Was it pain, fear, peace or all 3?

1) Forgiven for what?

2) What do you most want to ask your mom right now?

1) What is it you can't forgive yourself for? If the Son does, should you not too? For what does it profit a man to harbor regret and remorse in his heart over a past evil he did, and which he's done his best to put right, and it's led the way to his correction, whereby it only cheats him out of his peace and joy? Has not the Conscience completed it's work, leaving a man free?

2) How would you feel at completing the greatest achievement in history? ;)

Amen!  Everything I read in the New Testament says His blood was totally efficacious and therefore we are 100% justified in Christ.  We just need to say "amen" and agree with the speaking blood! (as mind-blowing as that can be) We can have absolute confidence in Him - the debt is completely paid . . . HALLELUJAH WHAT A SAVIOR!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
