Life In The Sight Of God

2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not, as so many, 

peddling the word of God;

but as of sincerity, but as from God, 

we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

The ever present witness of the Holy Spirit

desires to justify our words and actions.

2 Corinthians 10:

12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare

ourselves with those who commend themselves.

But they, measuring themselves by themselves,

and comparing themselves among themselves,

are not wise. 

13 We, however, will not boast beyond measure,

but within the limits of the sphere which

God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you. 

18 For not he who commends himself is approved,

but whom the Lord commends.

The Witness of the Lord should mold our desires

to a life of sincerity and Truth.

2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things

of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling

the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth

commending ourselves to every man's conscience

in the sight of God.

Women of God are particularly pleasing to Him

when the walk in a meek and gentle spirit.

1 Peter 3:

3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—

arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 

4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart,

with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit,

which is very precious in the sight of God.

The Lord knows our every insincerity, and to desire

the world's approval over His is an abomination

Luke 16:15 And He said to them, 

You are those who justify yourselves before men,

but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed

among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God, then man.
