Jeremiah Twenty-Three:

28 “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream;
And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.
What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord.
29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord,
“And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

True story. I woke up early this morning from a vivid dream in which I looked up and witnessed a Nova event, and as intense light rose from the Sun in full perimeter, I heard a voice say, "A day that shines like seven". Oooooooooooooo...

There are many who would put tremendous stock in dreams such as these, so let's consider the matter rationally. Firstly, I have studied nova events, micro-novas vs full on Novas, so my mind holds such knowledge, and finding information that we have studied consciously is hardly revelatory. Of course, I also am well aware of that scripture reference, as I am sure most of you are also.

Isaiah 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord binds up the breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

Add that to the fact that Satan quotes scripture, and it is not a cut and dry matter to recognize the Voice of the Spirit in a dream as opposed to the familiar daily talks over scripture. These measures of restraint must be applied over such matters.

Now to something more pressing.

Yesterday, while discussing Deuteronomy 32 with the Lord, I was struck by a most interesting verse.

36 “For the Lord will judge His people
And have compassion on His servants,
When He sees that their power is gone,

And there is no one remaining, bond or free.
37 He will say: ‘Where are their gods,
The rock in which they sought refuge?
38 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices,
And drank the wine of their drink offering?
Let them rise and help you,
And be your refuge
.

This is a word that not only confirmed my belief that while present Israel and the relations with the USA are clearly significant, it cannot and will not lead to ultimate reconciliation for Israel until all such dependencies are removed. Also worth considering is the possibility that the US will abandon Israel at some point. Just emphasizing the need to be certain that all legitimate hope is anchored to the Lord.

Now here is where the application to Jeremiah 23 cited above weighs in.

28 “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream;
And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.
What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the Lord.

Yesterday, after citing Deuteronomy 32, I posted a blunt comment about Israel's relations with the USA. Those comments are something I have held back for at least two years, when it was confirmed that not only was Trump all in for a second term, He also was laying claim to be "the only one who would bring peace to Israel". [No warning lights went off? For me it did]

I could have shared an opinion, but that is not how I roll. However, the moment I found confirmation of my thoughts in scripture, I posted faithfully what might well be condemned as inflammatory. I am not sure why, many on this forum have expressed very hostile thoughts toward present Israel. I am not expressing any such hostility. I am just saying, Israel will have no alliance to depend upon, before the Lord brings their final consolation, by the Word.

This also points to a major shortcoming in Eschatology. I realized that the prophecies made to Israel in Deuteronomy are not being given enough weight. Sometimes the Lord keeps things from us, so that we don't go speaking out of turn. That will not keep me from further evaluation of this and other early prophecies in the Pentateuch.

To insure our faithfulness, we must seek out the face to face relationship with the Lord that Moses enjoyed, and learn to hold our peace until we do.

Numbers Twelve:

6 Then He said,

“Hear now My words:
If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision;
I speak to him in a dream.
7 Not so with My servant Moses;
He is faithful in all My house.
8 I speak with him face to face,
Even plainly, and not in dark sayings
;
And he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
To speak against My servant Moses?”

Hebrews Three:

5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant,

for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,

6 but Christ as a Son over His own house,

whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence

and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Recently, a young brother on another forum asked me a very pointed, (and somewhat accusatory question), "why do you always talk about hearing the Voice of the Lord, AS IF YOU HEAR HIM BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE?

Wow! I have never given any thought to this idea of "everyone else", I have simply reported what I heard, but only after meticulously searching the scriptures under the Lord's direction such that I can present the witness of two or more passages from the Bible that justifies AT LEAST giving the thread proper consideration.

Unfortunately, what I have experienced time and time again, is after spending hours on a posting, not five minutes afterward, someone is firing off a disparaging response to what is clearly a reaction to a title, without giving due consideration to the Word presented. It is almost as if they are waiting for me to post, so they can pounce. Who does that?

Jeremiah 5:9 & 29, 9:9

Remain in His Joy Always,

James the Insignificant

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
