John Six:

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you

eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life,

and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

This caused a significant falling away

at a critical moment in history.

Just because many disciples were offended by this,

that is their lack of comprehension, and should present

no difficulties for the Saints. We have eternal life, as stated,

in the breaking of bread in Fellowship. The Covenant is

expressed by our participation, and those who do not

break bread in homes as we are taught in Acts and 1 Co 11,

it is the same as refusing circumcision for the Abrahamic

Covenant. It is a Covenant Requirement! Do this in

Remembrance of Me!

This can also be seen most evidently with the way

the world combines eating with revelry, business,

romance, diplomacy...all things really. Will you consecrate

your fellowship to be a holy meal???

Breaking bread with simplicity and thanksgiving allows

man to eat in the Presence of God.!.

Exodus Twenty-Four:

9 Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu,

and seventy of the elders of Israel, [the 70 elders were NOT

agents of Satan, as has been suggested]

10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under

His feet a paved work of sapphire stone, and

it was like the very heavens in its clarity.

11 But on the nobles of the children of Israel

He did not lay His hand.

So they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Luke 24:

28 Then they drew near to the village where they were going,

and He indicated that He would have gone farther.

29 But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us,

for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.”

And He went in to stay with them.

30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them,

that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him;

and He vanished from their sight.

32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn

within us while He talked with us on the road, and while

He opened the Scriptures to us?”

33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem,

and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,

34 saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”

35 And they told about the things that had happened on the road,

and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

Truly, if you have never eaten in the Presence, you have missed out

on many wonders, like a twelve year old comment on a passage

from the scriptures as if she were an ancient sage.

Should that come as a surprise?

Should we expect less than what the Lord has given us?

Luke 2:

41 His parents went to Jerusalem every year

at the Feast of the Passover. [that's a meal right?]

42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem

according to the custom of the feast.

43 When they had finished the days, as they returned,

the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem.

And Joseph and His mother did not know.

46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him

in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers,

both listening to them and asking them questions.

47 And all who heard Him were astonished

at His understanding and answers

48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed;

and His mother said to Him,

“Son, why have You done this to us?

Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.”

49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me?

Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

Is it any wonder the people of His acquaintance called Him

Immanuel!?!

Hello, God is with us! If He receives our invite.

Revelation Three:

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock

If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,

I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Philippians Three:

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.

18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Citizens of Heaven cannot allow themselves to be driven by appetite. Nothing edifying about this Truth, the belly is a constant whining baby wanting to be fed. Nothing spiritual about it. Carnal appetite through and through and not a revelation.

Eccl. 6:7 All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

The Time For Fasting Has Been Now and Throughout the Ministry of the church of God in Christ.

Luke Five:

30 And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

31 Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

33 Then they said to Him, Why do the disciples of John fast often and make prayers, and likewise those of the Pharisees, but Yours eat and drink?

34 And He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

35 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them; then they will fast in those days.

Who you break bread with and why is of the utmost importance. Let the world be troubled over what (and how much) to eat.

First Corinthians Nine:

8 But food does not commend us to God;

for neither if we eat are we the better,

nor if we do not eat are we the worse.

Eating without offense is priority one.

First Corinthians Ten:

23 All things are lawful for me,

but not all things are helpful;

all things are lawful for me,

but not all things edify.

24 Let no one seek his own,

but each one the other’s well-being.

25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat

market, asking no questions for

conscience’ sake;

26 for “the earth is the Lord’s,

and all its fullness.”

30 But if I partake with thanks,

why am I evil spoken of for

the food over which I give thanks?

31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink,

or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or

to the Greeks or to the church of God,

33 just as I also please all men in all things,

not seeking my own profit, but the profit

of many, that they may be saved.

This alone is to eat and drink

of the Spirit, or eat with condemnation.

First Corinthians Eleven:

20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper.

21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk.

22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;

24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Acts Ten:

28 Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful

it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go

to one of another nation. But God has shown me

that I should not call any man common or unclean

29 Therefore I came without objection as soon

as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason

have you sent for me?”

30 So Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting

until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed

in my house, and behold, a man stood

before me in bright clothing,

31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been

heard, and your alms are remembered

in the sight of God

32 Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon

here, whose surname is Peter. He is lodging

in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.

When he comes, he will speak to you.

33 So I sent to you immediately, and you

have done well to come. Now therefore,

we are all present before God,

to hear all the things commanded you by God.

Galatians Two:

11 Now when Peter had come to Antioch,

I withstood him to his face, because

he was to be blamed;

12 for before certain men came from James

he would eat with the Gentiles; but when

they came, he withdrew and separated himself,

fearing those who were of the circumcision

13 And the rest of the Jews also played

the hypocrite with him, so that even

Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

14 But when I saw that they were not

straightforward about the truth of the gospel,

I said to Peter before them all,

“If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles

and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews?"

Acts Fifteen:

1 And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

2 Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question.

10 Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”

19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God,

20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.

And what was the purpose of these few, but vitally important restrictions? It enabled Gentiles to sit at a table with Jews in Fellowship without offense.

First Corinthians Eight:13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

Romans Fourteen:

15 Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died.

16 Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil;

17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.

Acts Twenty-Four:16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
