Entering His Rest Is To Be Refreshed

Isaiah Twenty-Eight:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue
He will speak to this people,
12 To whom He said, “This is the rest with which
You may cause the weary to rest,”
And, “This is the refreshing”;
Yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the Lord was to them,
“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little,”
That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught.

Acts Three:

18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth

of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer,

He has thus fulfilled. 

19 Repent therefore and be converted,

that your sins may be blotted out, so that times

of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 

20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was

preached to you before, 

21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration

of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all

His holy prophets since the world began.

When Saints fail to enter the Lord's Rest TODAY, it is

because they have not desired the Refreshing.

Rest=anapauo [G373]=to be refreshed

First Corinthians Sixteen:

17 I am glad about the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus,

and Achaicus, for what was lacking on your part they supplied. 

18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours.

Therefore acknowledge such men.

Saints who have need of the Refreshing are those

who have borne the reproach of Christ.

First Peter Four:

14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, 

blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and

of God rests (and refreshes) you. 

On their part He is blasphemed,

but on your part He is glorified.

"But you will not come to Me To Find Life"

Matthew Eleven:

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest. (anapauo)

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,

for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find

rest for your souls. anapausis [G372]=refreshing

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

"Come to me and be refreshed!"

38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 

40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

41 I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 

44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?
