I would like to see the west follow that lead. Most modern rock/pop/hip hop is brain crack.

Mr Ahmadinejad's programme has included sacking more moderate members of the government and replacing them with ex-military commanders and politically inexperienced religious leaders.

In recent weeks he launched an outspoken attack on Israel, calling for the Jewish state to be "wiped off the map".

He also claimed the Nazi Holocaust, which killed six million Jews, was a "myth".

I'm not sure that Iran wants freedom.

Didn't Janet Reno order the same "torture" on the Branch Dividians in Waco?

I'm not sure what negative effect Kenny-G could possibly have on Muslims but as long as the Iranians wan't or tolerate a theocracy then they will have to live with their govenments choices regardless how radical. Their black market for music and western movies is quite extensive so they definately have their hands full trying to enforce this. They can control their theaters and radio stations but it will be harder to keep the citizens from being able to get the music they wan't.
