A federal judge in Indianapolis says he won't reconsider his decision barring the Indiana House of Representatives from opening its sessions with specifically Christian prayers.

The judges in our country are all begining to be like baby diapers. Just full of it.

Yeah, if a judge doesn't agree with me he/she is an activist and completely full of it. If however, a judge rules in my favor or does what I want... that's a good judge!! :emot-questioned:

You dont know what it feels like to have your religious freedom being taken away from you in the name of "tollerance."

Considering that I'm a Christian I don't understand your meaning. What religious freedom have Christians lost? No one has ever told me I couldn't go to church, or pray in public or banned Christian TV shows... :)

I was reading your responses on this thread , and what I read was not the words of someone who had the fear of the Lord motivating his/her heart.

You're right, I don't FEAR the Lord. Why would I fear God, he wishes me no ill will nor I to him.

That thread you linked, my responses were pointing out the hypocracy of what someone else said. Seems pretty clear to me.

Are you planning on attacking me in every thread now? Is that your way of trying to make me leave?

No one accused him of being activist. What we accused him of was being an ignorant fool (or in bob's words, "baby in diapers"), which he is.

For the sake of those reading this thread, my intention in my challenge to ConstantComment was to draw out the truth of this poster's heart.

It's easy to speak the Christian lingo and put the name of Christ on one's lips. But the heart cannot be disguised so easily.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Prov. 9:10

This poster obviously doesn't understand this very vital concept in drawing near to the Lord. No one can come face to face with his or her own sin without standing in awe at the holiness of the Living God.

I ask that we all pray for this person to come to the Light of the glory of God and knowledge of the Holy One.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
