Guest RickLee
I would welcome prayer in my decision to quit smoking. No matter what your religious point of view is on this smelly habit, I am sure most of you would agree that it is simply not a positive thing. As my 40th b-day draws nearer, my physical well-being becomes more of an issue and all the good diet and exercise in the world cannot get me as healthy as I would like to be as long as I continue to pollute my lungs. I'm really serious about this, folks. I believe with all my heart that your prayers will make a world of difference. Thank you soooo much!java script:emoticon('', 'smid_18') smilie

Look at it this way, if you are addicted to smoking than there is something in your life which is being put higher than our Lord, and is pretty much idolatry. About six years ago, I told the Lord I would quit... I did not do this immediately... Well I am convinced the Lord really helped me... His presence was so convicting, and let me put it this way... I will never smoke another cigarette again so long as I live... and even better... Eventually the desire was completely gone. Commit it to God in prayer. Praying for you.
