Practically the entire U.S. judicial system needs to "come alive" re heinous crime and the criminals in our midst who earnestly feel that crime does indeed pay. Remember these are often former criminal-defending defence attorneys - "their clients could never do such a thing!" - chosen by UltraLib politicians who themselves see criminals (including murderers) as simply "sick" in need of a hospital, not a jail cell and certainly not (for convicted killers) lethal injection! Heaven forbid! Until the judicial structure replaces momentum with rationale and commences to view serious crime & violent criminals - often REPEAT offenders - as detrimental to social progress, we're all in for a continuing rough ride. Stand publicly with law enforcement officials. Protect your wife and kids! Safeguard your homes! Be prepared to defend yourself! Violent criminals are on the lam - and they have little fear of retribution!

my dad was sent to prision for 6 yrs with a 4 yr probation just for touching a girl.. I think that people who can't learn to keep their hands to them selves should be locked away for at least 50 yrs if not more.

When Justice is done God is Glorified for God is Justice, and his Servants and children reflect there God's teachings in all they do, family, work, Worship, Government and the Justice in the Courts! True children know this verdict was unjust and unHoly and evil. No amount of his "anger doesnt solve anything" wont do what God intended for him to do, and that is to protect the people and see to there welfare above the welfare of the Convicted accused! We come first not the abuser! So what we have here is a judge that wants to see this man rape again and again and maybe murder children. I dont believe for one second he is nieve of what sex offenders are capable of. Not one second. It would been better if he had never been born than to hurt one of the little ones that believe in Jesus! and again, the Angels of Children are always before my Fathers face! Matthew 18:10.

This is such a tragedy. And, what kind of justice does this victim receive?

This is hardly even a punishment for this man.

But, then God says, Vengeance is mine says the Lord. I hope He gives it to both the offender and the judge.

It's almost as if American judicial authorities wish the poor victim would saunter off into the wilderness, and the violent perpetrator be given all the amenities of a government-sponsored home!! Forget the victim; Uphold the criminal! No rights for victims; fullest rights for mad-dogs! It's too bad that in view of all the charges being dropped today, that we can't somehow find a way to drop all the injuries accorded the poor victims! As I never tire of relating, crime will NEVER decrease in society until it becomes more damgerous to be a criminal than a victim. Are you listening even a teensy bit, Supreme Court?
