I am writing this as I just need a little encouragement. I have had to go through so much alone; people say that they will be there for you and they are not. They go to such lengths to talk you to tears about how much they want to be your friend but when it comes to the crunch don't give a rip. I have had to go through this car accident completely alone and not a single phone call to see how I am or a card from family. I accept that noone cares, but sometimes I feel so alone. I am so unwell and people wonder why I work and don't have a break. I simply don't wish to be destitute and have to pay the rent. I have to work untill I get compensation, but I have constant panick attacks and suffer from ptsd and claustrophobia as well as the everyday pain I have to live with. I have grown so cold and angry because it is too painful to face that a single person does not care.

I told my boss how sick I am today because I am past being able to cope.

Yes i pray, but the fire of affliction burns so strong that I feel like I won't make it.

Hi there. I'm so sorry you are going through all of this  Sadly, we can't rely on anyone here on earth. People will always let us down. But do know this!! Your creator, the one who knit ever fiber of your body, and who feels the pain you are going through loves you more than any human could ever possibly love you. Go to Jesus in prayer, and pour your heart out to Him. Tell him all the things that are making you sad and scared.

meanwhile, we'll be praying for you!

isaiah 40:28-31 isaiah 41:10 ,we live in a world dominated by satanic thinking, the me first attitude, doing bible research many have found that we are living in a world that is ruled by satan, job went through a very painful existence when satan tested his loyalty to god, this is not to belittle your sufferring, but after everything job went through he was rewarded for not breaking his integrity to god, likewise today those who live in this world will suffer but those putting their trust in god will suffer more, thats a guarantee,so how do we handle the trauma from this system of things that we live in ,first we recognize that others that had less than us have sufferred more, this helps us to keep our sufferring in perspective, but those hoping in god have something to look forward to a life without sickness, death, sorrow,or pain, rev 21;3,4.people come and go but god is always there for those who are faithful, listen to how he feels about all of our sufferrings zechariah 2;8 deut.32:10 people can go through car accidents and pain and even death but what satan wants us to work on is isolating people from healthful teachings of god, like job ,gods archenemy loves to take our anxieties and mushroom them, next thing you know the human race doesnt care and we develop a negative attitude.we as a people allowed satan to rip away everlasting life for us once before in eden, how could we possibly let him win again, his so called kingdom is drawing to a close and faces destruction by god,so we need to remember that the fight true christians have is a spiritual fight more than you could possibly ever know,we can not put our trust in other people we must put our trust in god to deliver us from this system of things, your suffering is a test of faith,so go back in your bible and read the accounts of those who had to struggle like king david, job, abraham, paul, stephen, just because a ture christian faces modern problems does not make their fight of any less value than those in the scriptures,

Dear Lasere,

I think that people are in general a bit thoughtless. Then again, maybe they are more thoughtful than you are giving them credit for. It's very possible that they are thinking of you and praying for you but in their minds they think you need some rest so that you can recuperate so they don't want to bother you. Or maybe they are simply so busy, they forgot or whatever. There are so many possibilities. I wouldn't just totally discount them right off the bat. A lot of times we build things up in our minds only to find out weeks, months or years later that people were not thinking at all what we thought they were thinking. I have been through similar experiences. But you cannot let those experiences make you hard or uncaring. Rather it should help you to be a more caring person yourself. I have to ask myself, as do we all, how do I respond when a person I know is in need. Am I willing to forget my own troubles and time constraints and just call or visit the person to find out how they are or what they need? Jesus taught us in Matthew five to love people and to pray for them no matter how we are being treated.

To encourage yourself when all else fails, read through the psalms. David encouraged himself in the Lord when no one else would. God is always there standing by to help you through a time of need.

There is encouragement in Christ. It is in these times that the Lord wants you to rely on Him and not on people. Christ is our strength and hope...there is none in man alone.

You are right...people may say they care but when it comes down to the truth they care more for themselves and will only care for others as long as it doesn't inconvenience them. The Lord is not like this...He is more faithful and cares for us more than we can understand.

Believe this and stand on this. These fires of affliction can purify like fire purifying gold. This gold is Christ in you. We are purified by the fires of affliction. Trust this sister that you will grow stronger and that this fire will burn away the dross making you a more pure and shining gold.

You are a precious stone being crafted for the building of New Jerusalem

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
