If a child is talented in that way, towards the arts, then we need to help him achieve that goal in a Christ-centered way.

Definately will. As TexasGramdma aptly points out, a lot of good Christians get torn up there.

A good solution is to flood Hollywood. It is hard to become corrupt when a plurality, or at least a group, of people believe and act the same as you do. Imagine if churches held youth retreats for young actors and encouraged deep acting and not just fluffy skits.

I have been watching alot of old time movies mostly the ones that are black and white and I don't recall any nudity or gayness in these movies. Maybe Hollywood should go back to making those ones. Just a thought.

i agree with the person who said we should go back to the old movies. i've been watching them, too and i think they are great. why can't we just be content with no nudity, sex scenes, or gayness???

No, it has nothing to do with that. I know some CHristians probably are unaware as to who Jesus is, but He was actually God in flesh came down and taught us a lot of things before dying for our sins. If they'll look, one thing He said is we are to be salt and light...this means to intermingle with the lost and to affect our culture. Now I know they disagree with Jesus, and have on several occasions, but I am merely pointing out what He taught. Likewise, this passage in Corinthians is dealing with marriage issues and morals...we are not to accept the morals of the world.

If you honestly believe that we are to be seperate, go join an Amish community and leave us alone. Stop wasting Christ's time if you are not going to affect culture.
