I just wanted to relay a message I heard in church last night. We as Christians, are under ATTACK! You all know what I am talking about. There are four main views of thought in this country right now: Christian-faith, communism or marxism, secular humanism, and the new age movement. There are over 192 million professing Christians in the United States and only 7 million humanists!! However, our schools have been infiltrated by these humanists and now only that material which is neutral is allowed in. No longer are our children taught the things we once were, but are fed doses and doses of humanist doctrine. We must speak out! We must get involved! Don't sit back and let those who wish to destroy Christianity and our faith in Jesus Christ get the upper hand. We are the majority and let's make sure that we don't become the silent majority.

Too many of us are hiding around waiting for the second coming and that is good and all, but our society is paying the price. Abortions are rampant, homosexuality is becoming acceptable, television is the great abyss, and our children are in for the fight of their lives. Never before have the stakes been so high for our young people. There is so much information out there available to them that it will be a long and hard road to keep them on the straight and narrow. This scares the living daylights out of me as a father and I know it does the same to some of you. I have heard on many news programs that we are the religious "right", fanatics and Bible beaters. What a compliment! However, what we must uncover is that those who are spewing their venom against Christians on our media outlets are the real radicals. They are the ones who want no sign of our Christian faith anywhere publicly shown and if they have their way, then let the persecutions begin. I know that in this great country of ours (USA) that we are more free to practice our religion than in most other lands, but if we don't stand up and speak out when we see injustice and religious persecution towards our own brothers and sisters, then we are going to lose the fight!

Truth is we all know how it all turns out. We know that Jesus Christ is going to win in the end. It is my opinion that we must always take up our sword of truth and let those who seek to rid the earth of us, that we are going nowhere and will always stand up and fight for Him who saved our lives. The only One who shed innocent blood so that we might all have a personal relationship with Him. Jesus Christ is my hero and I intend on fighting for Him until the end!

God bless,

Brother Chad :whistling:

You know, I have been thinking about this.

There are over 192 million professing Christians in the United States and only 7 million humanists!!

I am sure your stat is accurately quoted, but I refuse to believe there are that many genuine believers out there. The problem in America is the over saturation of the gospel has produced what I call a "pseudo-Christian." That is, somebody who may think they are saved, but in fact they have not grown past their initial confession of Christ. For some inexpicable reason, many people think all they have to do make some kind of confession, shed some tears and viola...presto change-o, their born again. I'd like to see some evidence...some fruit. Many people claim to "love Jesus," but that is not enough. Anybody can say they love G-d, but again, how is that demonstrated? The Church as it exists in America is a mile wide and an inch deep, I think. That explains why secular humanists are prevailing--they are far more committed to their "religion" than the vast majority of American Christians are.

if we don't stand up and speak out when we see injustice and religious persecution towards our own brothers and sisters, then we are going to lose the fight!

You are right, and many of us are doing just that. However, as the Bible says, our fight is not against flesh and blood. It is a spiritual battle we are engaged in, and too many Christians think that a spiritual battle can be won in Washington DC. Not so. A spiritual battle must be fought in the spiritual realms. And without a doubt, we shall prevail, we have that promise in the Word. Jesus said He would build His Church (the Church in this case, not referring to the Kingdom) and the gates of Hades would not prevail against it. That means not even death would be able to stop the true Church from acheiving ultimate triumph and victory.

Great post Bro.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
