I found this to be an interesting question which was posed by another Worthy member in another thread. I have adapted it slightly to suit the purpose of this thread. Mind you there is no right or wrong here, just your personal preference or opinion, so please don't laboriously expound on why you've chosen what you have.

Just share with us which book you would choose.

"If someone was left on an Island with no knowledge of our faith

and we were told you could only give them one book of the bible...... which would you choose?"

I think I would choose The First Epistle of John (1 John)

Blessings and peace to all :emot-hug:

my first choice would be genesis

Isaiah 46:10

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

the second would be the revelation of our lord jesus christ.

third would be job

fourth would be psalms

fifth isaiah

sixth jeremiah

seventh exodus

hopefully i have retained enough of the words of jesus and the proverbs to fill in the blanks

tough question

I would give them the book of James. It explains that faith saves us, but it must be seen in our good works towards others.

If not the book of James, then the book of John, because it explains who Christ is.

I would choose one of the Gospels, probably Matthew and John.

The Gospel of John. It clearly defines that Jesus is God and, what He has done for us, and how to live.
