Who is taking care of the orphans?

Who is taking care of the widows?

Who is taking care of the poor?

Who is taking care of your neighbor?

very easy question to answer, THE GOVERNMENT, thats who.

Why has the Church stepped aside and is allowing the government to step in and do our job, (the job of the Church).

I asked this question to people in a fellowship, as to why a man was having to rely on social security and welfare to get some work done on his house. This man is retired and disabled and receiving almost not enough social security to barely live on with his utilities. he can not even afford routine maintenance on his house. some of the work that was needed, has been completed at no cost to him by one person, parts, material and labor, but some of the work is more extensive then this person can do. the reply from his Christian Fellowship, was that they would have to wait until Welfare was done before they stepped in.

if he gets too much help, he will lose what welfare aid he currently has.

Why are we allowing the "STATE" to step in and control what we (those of us that profess to be Christian) do?

non-christian organizations providing more comfort and assistance to our Christian brothers and sisters then Christian organizations.

Fema should not exist.

social security should not exist.

welfare should not exist.

the hospitals funded and taken care of by the masons should be so few in number compared to those that are Christian run. the Shriners hospitals are totally self supportive, and they are no cost to any child that is in need.

Taxes, as we know them should not exist, the monies should be coming from the hand of the Christians directly to the aid of those in need ( cutting 9 out of 10 middle men taking their cuts , going through the church body)

we hear of people promoting random acts of kindness, but has any been carried through for more then just a couple deeds or acts...

we can not rely on the government to care for our elderly, or our widowed and orphaned properly, we already know how that works, go to the nursing homes, and you will see elderly sitting in their waste, some times for hours before being cleaned, and the lowest costing nursing home care is about 3000 a month, not including any extras... most are higher... the nursing staff is short handed and under paid, so some of the nursing staff really do not care and some should not even be there.... the company that owns the nursing home is the one that is raking in the money... a good many of the folks residing in the nursing homes have been basically abandoned by their families...

churches do not want to be bothered with shelters or poor or homeless, do not want to have their country clubs interupted or disturbed. they do not want to allow just anyone in, but want to keep it exclusive to only those they want in, and if some one else is allowed in, they are limited on what area's of ministry they are allowed to work in. if not totally shunned from working at all...

we have become nothing more then pew warmers.... expecting to be entertained for a couple hours a week......

where does it say, even one time, in the Word of God that he wants a house of entertainment? or a house of preaching? or a house for socializing (gossiping) , or a house of music,

The Word of God says...... MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER.......

when was the last prayer meeting held that was attended by more then just a handfull of the membership? (not talking about a service with preaching or singing, or talking or visiting, talking about a total down to earth, goodness nothing but prayer, interceeding for all the family, friends, co-workers and other brothers and sisters in Christ, and..........AND....... for all the lost souls, yes, even those that do not smell good)

When was the last time a prayer meeting was held that people were on their faces crying out to the Lord, pleading for our own selves, repenting, spending time seeking the Lord, spending time face in the carpet, spending time listening for the Lord...

mostly we are in too big a hurry to spend more then a few seconds on a canned prayer that is really not even heart felt....

when was the last time a group prayed and fasted together for days??? or even met with each other for several days in a row praying without the other stuff that might go with a church service.... when was God the direct and only focus for hours on end or even days???

we want this, we want that, but we are unwilling to give even a smidgen of time for the Lord

Lev. 26 has been given to me several times over the past couple weeks.....

this is not a bad place to start, but a good place to start....

Prayer and Fasting is a begining.... back to basics guys.... prayer and fasting....

revival does not start with a few songs and a person that can talk good...... IT STARTS WITH PRAYER, AND LOTS OF IT......

we want to chang this world, we can, if we take the power granted us, and use it.... but i dont know what so and so will think or what sister doodle blab will say to the rest of the people if she sees me doing this....

WHO CARES......

If you are ashamed of Me......................

Who Cares what sister doodle blab says... what matters is what Christ says to the Father about me, this is what matters most, sister doodle blab will have to answer for herself as i have to answer for myself, and you for your self....

folks, fasting for even a meal, taking that time instead of eating, spend it in prayer.... fast lunch for a week, spend every lunch for a week in prayer..... solid, honest to goodness prayer.... fast and pray from friday after eating lunch until monday morning before work, spend the extra time in prayer.....

the more a person prays, the more they realize they need to pray more and will spend more time in prayer, and the more time they spend in prayer, the more time they want to spend in prayer....

Prayer is not just one way..... prayer is two way.... prayer is not just talking to God, but also God talking to us..... Prayer is also spending time in the Word of God, reading, studying, seeking knowledge and wisdom ffrom God.... Pray before reading and allow God to fill you with the Sprit of God.....

we hear things like, wow, the Spirit really moved in this service..... Did God really move? did God just visit again? did God pour out His Spirit on this service? or did we just get some Holy Ghost Goose Bumps? or did we just feel the Spirit as He was shttering from the thought of people only pretending to be seeking?

the Spirit of God does not have to come down.....

the Spirit of God is already here.....

LORD, HELP US TO RECEIVE YOUR HOLY SPIRIT..... Help us to open our hearts to Your Spirit, so that we may grow stronger in You, grow closer to You, in all that we do and all that we say let it be for Your Glory, Your Honor, Your Power, Let Your light shine through us, help us to be willing vessels.....

do not let us bottle up Your Spirit in side us, but allow Him to flow through us..... so that people will know who we are, with out us even saying one single little word, let the fruit of our lives be lasting fruit for You.

Help us to learn to spend more and more time at Your feet, dear Father, Teach us to be humble to bow down before You and You alone, not computers, tv's radio's, sports, cars, jobs, even friends, and family, help us to focus on You, not distractions. Father, forgive me for not keeping You First, Last and Foremost in my life. I ask that You teach me more. I asked for the knowledge, and you gave me the knowledge, now I ask that you grant me the wisdom to know how to use the knowledge you gave. increase my area, Lord, increase my work for You. Teach me more, I hunger after You, I thirst for You, I desire more of You, I crave for all that is You.....

Send me Lord, Send me.

in the Name of Jesus Your Precious Son....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
