Homosexuality is clearly wrong, it is a sin, it is not a "sexual" sin because it has very little to do with sex, it is a perversion. It is wrong specifically because it is a sin against your own body, and the body is "a temple". It is not about "sex" because so called "homosexual sex" uses the anus and the anus is not a sexual organ. Sodomy is no more "just another sex act" (as some would have you believe) than is bestiality, necrophilia or masturbation with an object.

I think the danger for society lies in euphemisms for the homosexual act. Talk of "gay" marriages, relationships, "dating", "gay sex", "homophobia". All these terms seek to normalise "the gay lifestyle" and make people think it all "warm and fuzzy" and "inclusive" and "tolerant" to "celebrate diversification in society". However, when we are honest and realise that we are actually talking about the act of sodomy or very confused women pretending that they "don't need men" and calling themselves "lesbians" we have a different view entirely.

The word "homophobia" has got to be one of the most ridiculous words to grace the 20th and 21st centuries. We have forgotten that, when broken down, it literally means "a fear of oneself", if nothing else we have admitted to the stupidity of letting go of the prefix "homo" and letting it be accepted as pertaining to sodomy, and otherwise, we have let the word "homophobia" - or rather the fear of being labelled "homophobic" - scare us into accepting the politically correct idea that homosexuality has nothing whatsoever to do religion or God and it is being "bigoted" to claim otherwise.

It is for this reason that Leviticus says things that are just as important as any other part of the Bible. We cannot go "picking and choosing" from scripture and deciding what we want to take notice of and what has been "superceded". God has made the rules, not people.

Homosexuality has ZIP to do with "rights." Opposition to this blatant sin is rooted in biological, psychological, sociological & biblical facts. Transgenerational death can hardly be any sane person's idea of social progress.

Actually, they think it is alright to have that and They thinks that God made the man that way but it is not true. God didnt made the man to feel that way being a "gay" I dont believe that. God has plans for everyone in this world. They are trying to destroy God's plans for everyone. Its really sad because they dont actual follow what the Bible says saying do not defile yourselves in those practices or being like that. LIke people say oh I was born that way to be a gay or lesbian. God didnt make that person like that no way.

I love the sinner but not sin. same thing as God he does love the sinner but hate sin.

many people are twisting the truth and bend the truth and it is very dangerous and they are decieving themselves. God didnt decieving them at all. They people are doing themselves not from God at all

Further, I never tire of stressing, the human rectum with its absorbent & delicate lining - not to mention the dangerous bacteria of the lower gut - is not suited for homosexual purposes. Why fuel the madness? Repetez apres moi: "Fegettabowit!" All people with even a modicum of common sense should be dancing in the aisles at THAT medical fact!

Now, I understand that Leviticus states one should not "lie with a man as with a woman." I am not going to get into a debate as to whether or not the bible states homosexuality is morally wrong. I know it does.

How important is this statement compared to other verses? Why do Christians put homosexuality above other other verses that may not *seem* as important. Leviticus also contains laws and instructions regarding clean and unclean animals, proper practices of sacrifice and slavery. It also says you cannot wear mixed fabrics.

Also, how do you respond to those who argue the Old Testament should now be disregarded in favor of the New Testament?

Thanks in advance.

not only does the old testament speak about it, but also the New.... and the New also speaks of other things... those that are liars, will not partake in the Kingdom.... those that are sexually immoral will not partake.... and others....

with out the Old Testament, we have no foundation for the New Testament... and... Christ did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it...

The Laws still stand. the Commandmenst of God still stand in the New Testament, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Remember that He told us, If you Love Me, you will keep My commandments...

this does not mean we are free to live the way we want if we want Christ to abide in us... Good and Evil can not co-exist in one dwelling, a person either has Christ, or they do not.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
