Can more then one religion be true?

Matthew 12:46-50

46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. 47 Then one said to Him, "Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You."

48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?" 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."

Jesus' mother and brothers were searching for Him. He showed them no more regard than any other person.

God is no respecter of persons, which is why we do not elevate Mary any higher than any other saint of God. She is honored in that she was blessed to bear the Savior.

We do not exalt her any further. She is a saint and we honor our brothers and sisters in the faith but we do not bow a knee to them.

We kneel only to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

COMPARE THE WORD KNEW IN THESE TWO SCRIPTURES... BOTH MEAN THE SAME THING....

Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Mt 1:25 - And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Good points I am looking into both the defense of her virginity and how the criminal was saved, it may take time though I am very busy most of the time.

I just looked it up again because it is complicated, but basically you could say that usually when the Pope speaks ex cathedra it carries the weight of infallibility. The Pope declared infallibly that the definition of infallibility is thus: The Pope is infallible when, speaking ex cathedra as Supreme Pastor, explaining a doctrine of faith or morals, and it is to be held by the Universal Church. Even if those three conditions are met, the Pope is not speaking infallibly if teaching new doctrine, or not guarding the revelation passed on from the Apostles.

That is the official definition, somewhat paraphrased for simplicity.

The teaching of papal infallibilty goes back at least to the year a.d. 1000.

The easiest way to look at this is that there are levels which the pope uses to teach. In the business world you have memos and policy. The pope could issue a memo that says hey we need to try to get these things done better because it is good that way. Or he could issue a policy (ex cathedra) that says this is the way it is, period.

I don't have ANY time for people that teach with any type of aire of infallibility, cpmlicated definitions or not. Unless His name is God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, or the Holy Spirit. Sorry.....just wthe way it is.

well, since Scripture is God-Breathed, then anything from Genesis to Revelation is included.

That is infallible. That is what is needed...and consequently, ALL that is needed for life and godliness.
