The Anglican Church could move a step closer to schism this week as the US branch meets to debate whether to “repent” the effects of its actions in consecrating an openly gay bishop.

Waimahia,

This may come as a surprise to you but there are thousands of good Christ loving and serving folks who go to the Episcopal Church...

It is heartbreaking to them to see their Church run by atheists and homosexuals...

Their are many Churches out there who have been hijacked by them, not just the Episcopal Church..

Pray for them that the faithful Episcopal folks find a place of worship where they can come together to worship freely and sincerely , God whom they love..... :)

I agree most wholeheartedly. The "Anglican" church - unheard of in Holy Writ - is surely built on the sins of a very human British King and today, on a continuing interconnectedness with the Roman papacy, also unknown in Holy Writ. It's a continuing wonder why the "Anglican" church doesn't openly recommend union with, let us say, the Mohammadan mass-homicide bombers as well as even recommending, in the interest of decrepit multiculturalism and multi-faithism, that we place a Muslim in the U.S. presidency. And why not? Precisely WHAT might be its moral anchor anyways? Verrry interesting.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Hi tah,

Thanks for your reply.

I understand you sincerely believe that there are thousands of Anglicans who love and serve Christ. If He is truly their Lord and Master, they will obey Him. He instructs them what to do, "Come out from among them...." (II Cor 6: 14 - 18 & Rev 18:4) These Anglicans who claim to follow Christ had better quit the Anglican/Episcopal Church fast. If they do not, well, He warns us what will happen if we continue to associate with a rotten system; we will "receive of her plagues."

This system which ordains queers and women as clergy (amongst its many other sins) is simply not of God. It is of men, and when Christ returns it will be utterly destroyed, as will every institution of men.

Believe me I am trying to be moderate of speech. The prayers of the saints rise as sweet incense to God. Please realise though that (not just) the Anglican/Episcopal Church is a great, foul stench to God. It has NOTHING to do with God and those who claim to follow Christ had better get out now.

With brotherly concern,

Waimahia

Waimahia, try reading what I said...

I said they need to find a place to worship outside of the ECUSA....

Visit VirtueOnline and meet a few Brothers and Sisters in Christ ...

My husband has not had time to get into this conversation but I really hope he will as he knows much more about the history of the church than I do...

as for the rest of your post....sigh...

Your choice of words was offensive the correct term if you need one is sodomite ...

and women can have just as much anointing to minister as a man can...

Disagreements in the Episcopal Church (I'm one of those liberal Anglicans!!) are nothing new and we have centuries of beautiful tradition, we agree to disagree and though there are many different doctrines and ideas we are still one Body and can partake of the eucharist together.

Top Ten reasons to be an Episcopal:

10. No snake handling

9. You can believe in dinosaurs.

8. Male and female God created them, male and female we ordain them.

7. You don't have to check your brains at the door.

6. Pew aerobics.

5. Church year is color-coded

4. Free wine on Sunday.

3. All of the pagentry none of the guilt!

2. You don't have to know how to swim to get baptized.

1. No matter what you believe there's bound to be another Episcopalian who agrees with you :P

peace be with you Brother

Top Ten Reasons Not To Be An "Episcopal" -

1. Unknown anywhere in Holy Writ!

2. They have a real problem with the GENESIS snake!

3. They're not the only ones who believe in dinosaurs!

4. Why should evangelicals check their brains ANYWHERE?

5. Episcopals have uncomfortable pews!

6. It says "fruit of the vine," not aged in wood!

7. If no sin & guilt, why would its Savior die?

8. Greek "Baptizo" has reference to immersion, not droplets!

9. Episcopal/Anglican/Church of England no strangers to homosexuality agenda!

10. Pagentry galore; (Bible-based) Preaching outside its door!

One To boot: Which disciple was an "Episcopal"? Excellent query.

Peace and Love as Always.

You guys go ahead and duke it out...

I don't go to the Episcopal Church....my husband does and I know he is a good solid Christian man...

but I think, personally, that you are both wrong...

But we got the basics and that is what counts ...

and If you read the statement of faith on this site you have what I believe and as far as I am concerned if that is what you believe, well then, we be brethren....

Again....Pray for the folks, if you have a heart for your brethren, that God show them how to separate from the atheist and homosexual led ECUSA ......

All these Christian folks are going to need a new place of worship or a way to separate and be able to keep their property..we will see...

Maybe they can join the Anglican Church of Nigeria for a while and then create a new Church in the USA called the Anglican Church of America which is orthodox and recognized by the Anglican communion....

if I understand this correctly it could be a solution to the faithful ones in Christ..

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
