Hi 'Christian' folk !!!

I am very amazed at you!! Many of you seem to love the Jews more than moslems. I wonder :why this???? Moslems believe that Jesus was born miraculously; he did many miracles such as raising the dead; he was a teacher of Truth etc. etc.etc....

And the jews believe that Jesus was a Jewish (Illegitimate)! They believe that Mary (may Allah's bessing be on her!!) was unchaste!!

Despite all this, 'christians' despise moslems and adore the followers of those who ---allegedly--- killed the so-called 'God incarnate'. 'christians' helped the jews to rob the land of Palestine from its people and they yearn for the day when the Jews enslave the Arabs / Muslims !!!

I am very perplexed at your attitude, 'christians' . :emot-hug: Helpl me. I want to understand you. I am listening !!!!

First of all, I don't hate Muslims I pray for all people everyday. I hate the "acts" of some Muslim terrorist. Secondly, the Bible tells us the Jewish people are the apple of God's eye, and those who bless them will be blessed and those who curse them will be cursed, I prefer to obey God. So I pray for Israel! Last but not least, you seem to have unlimited access to the computer, why don't you go on line and look up news reports from the time Israel became a nation after World War II, you will find dozens of reports many of them from Arab newspapers, that the land wasn't stolen. I've read BOTH sides of the matter, maybe you could try doing the same, instead of spewing out the same tired, falsehoods that are spread by those who really don't want to know the truth.

Greetings Muhammed!

I can understand how that would be perplexing! However--although over 100 of my friends have been murdered by Moslems--I certainly don't hate Moslems. I'm a little leery of you guys, but I think that under the circumstances, I can hardly be blamed for that! I pray for the Moslem world every day, my friend, and I have Moslem friends back in Gaza who made me part of their family!

Glorious Khoran and the Bible disagree as to many things, and we Christians believe the Bible is the correct Word. In the Bible, we learn that Jesus is God, incarnated and living among us. He came to serve as a Sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. And we Christians believe that unless a man believes this, whether that man is Jewish, or Gentile, he cannot have eternal life. So there we Christians disagree with BOTH the Jews and the Moslems.

The Bible also teaches that despite the Jews obstreporousness, God has chosen them as His beloved. They are the apple of His eye as the Prophet Isaiah put it. And God promised to them this land. It is therefore right that they should have this land. Now the same Bible also promises Gaza to the Philistines. And today's Palestinians, are probably descendents of those Philistines.

It is not that we 'hate' Moslems, dear one, but rather that we find the Moslem insistance that they should have the land, to be against God's Word.

And friend, it is NOT Rabbis and Jewish people who are walking into Arab market places, movie theatres, and restaurants and blowing themselves up to kill Moslem civilians, but vice-versa. Jews did not kill more than 100 of my friends and professional colleagues.

Can you blame us for approaching Moslems VERY CAUTIOUSLY!??!

Many of you seem to love the Jews more than moslems. I wonder :why this????

What do you mean by "love" mohammad?

Which type of love do you refer to?

Philia, Eros, Agape, or Storge?

Saints,

Keep the discussion civil or it will go away. Saints, minister to mohammad (and other non-believers)with AGAPE love. Do as Christ would do and as the Holy Spirit leads you. Lean NOT on your own understanding; set your pride aside and show our friend the FULLNESS of HIS love! Wash his feet saints!

May the Lord Bless you all richly,

Wayne

Despite all this, 'christians' despise moslems and adore the followers of those who ---allegedly--- killed the so-called 'God incarnate'. 'christians' helped the jews to rob the land of Palestine from its people and they yearn for the day when the Jews enslave the Arabs / Muslims !!!

Mainly because Christianity sprang forth from Judaism (though we lose much of that today) and that Jesus was a Jew. Though many in the Jewish faith say such things about Jesus, the Torah also prophecies that one day their eyes and ears will be open to the true Messiah. Thus, there will always be a special place in our hearts for Jews.

Now, we, at least I, do not love them anymore than I love Muslims. Though I do not love all people equally, there have been many Muslims I have run into that I had strong admiration for. THe reason you're goign to see a lot of "love" for Jews and a lot of "hate" for Muslims is unfortunate but also simple: Jews have not blown themselves up in an attempt to kill our citizens. This is not an accusation against all Muslims (especially Muslims in America) or even a justification for this hatred, but it is an explanation for why we are a bit more weary of Muslims worldwide than we are of Jews.

Do not think though that I believe this is the case with all Muslims. I think back to one of my students who's mother baked me a cake in appreciation for helping her son (best cake I've ever had btw). The truth is that we would love to see all, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist...you name it, come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. In this, we do love all equally and desire that all be saved.

I love the Jewish people. When you truly completely love someone, you end up loving the ones they love also. When I read my Bible, and I read about how much my sweet Jesus loved His people, how He looked upon Jerusalem and wept for His people, wanting to gather them in His arms like a mother hen gathers her chicks, I can't help but love the Jewish people too. Un conditionally because I don't personally konw any Jewish people. I also believe God put this love inside of me. I don't think it just "happened". I do love Muslims also because Jesus loves them so much as He loves all sinners, all who are decieved. I don't know why, but some Christians have a particular "burden" for a particular group of people. :emot-highfive:

I would also add that comments declaring that Jews and to enslave Arabs does not helpthe Muslim cause because it boils down to anti-Jew rhetoric. No Jew wants to enslave the Arab people, and so when you claim such a thing it makes it harder for Christians to accept Muslims in a legitimate discussion. Make sense?

Hi Silent, Kerdos and Wayne !!!

Those "acts by some Muslim terrorists" do not come from the void! Just think of this : those terrorists are :

* suffering an injustice. they have concluded that no authority can take their side. And they have knocked at every door for a solution but with no avail!! So, they use every babarous means to attract attention to their situation. But at any case, Islam doesn't tell us to stop evil with another evil.

* the fruit of the policy of despotic leaders in the Arab/Muslim world. Most of these leaders are backed by the 'christian' West. Most of those terrorists draw their inspiration from Wahhabism. And Wahhabism comes from the despotic regime in Saudi Arabia. The Talibans (and Ben Laden !! ) showed up during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan thanks to the backing of the USA and the Wahhabi Saudi Arabia. And now America is reaping what it sowed !!!

* ignorant of the true islam. Islam doesn't encourage its adherents to blow up unwary infidels to retaliate against someone else's wrongdoing.

You say that today's Jews are the " apples of God's eye"!! This is applied to the true follwers of the prophets (Abraham, David, Mose etc). But today's Jews are a far cry from those followers. Today's Jews rejects two prophets and their Divine Books : Jesus and Mohammad.

Yes, Jesus was an Israelite , from the House of david. But he was NOT a Jew. He was a muslim. The word 'jew' denotes a name of the members of an Israelite tribe : 'Judah' ( hence we have JUDAism). It doesnot pertain to God's religion.

In islam, a 'Jew' is an Israelite who doesn't follow the true teachings of the prophets.

Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. And those Jews who rejected / rejects him are his enemies because they are not following his religion.

So, I conclude that Jesus Christ was an Israelite Muslim NOT a JEW. And the true followers of Christ WERE Christian Muslims !

Do some thinking ,please!

Blowing kisses to you, 'Christians' !!! :24::thumbsup:

Hi B*oodbought !!!

Do you mean that the Jewish Zionists came to Palestine with no people on it ?? The Arabs who were in Palistine were not nomads. Many of them were settling there for 100s of years.Nay, for thousands of years. And they were not nomads!

it is those Jewish settlers who were nomads. They came to the holy land of Palestine from different regions of the world. They spent many centries 'roaming' in the 'Christian' Europe because the European 'Christians' used to persecute them!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
