Can Public Minister Warren Jeffs be legally prosecuted in State Court for charges that constitute heresy against Christianity?

Heresy

Heresy, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is a "theological or religious opinion or doctrine maintained in opposition, or held to be contrary, to the Catholic or Orthodox doctrine of the Christian Church.

Polygamy

Jeffs is simply a fundamentist Mormon following the earnest teachings re polygamy of both Joseph Smith, Jr., its founder (married over 40 times?) and Brigham Young, his successor (married 27 times?). The U.S. Government prohibited polygamy many years ago which necessitated a "new revelation" in order to be able to say that Mormonism rejected polygamy. But it was the United States Government - not the Mormon organization - which prompted denunciation of polygamy by Utah. Further, any Mormon at your door, if questioned, will not denounce polygamy but try to degend it. Further yet, it's most interesting that current Mormon teaching calls for "celestial marriage" necessitating ongoing "marriages for eternity" in Mormon Temples....even tho the Christian Scriptures clearly state that there'll no marriage in Heaven!

Surely the focus here should be upon institutionalised rape andchild abuse. Forcing young girls to "marry" much older men, or forcing anyone into a sexual relationship. Something that is alledged to be the norm in this and other similar cults. I have no objections to the ccontracts /unions formed between consenting adults, however odd I may find them.
