Greetings in the name of Jesus everyone. My wife and i have been married now 2 and a half years . We had a beautiful wedding , and my in laws were pastors but after 6 months we began experiencing terrible arguments. It got to a stage were i packed my things and headed to my parents house. I was seperated from my wife for 9 months. During that seperation my wife and i went through alot of soul searching , there were prohecies over our life and that we would get back together - but neither she nor me wanted this. We both were so put off marriage that we still remained faithfull to our vows in that we remained pure to each other (not having affairs) yet we did not want a relationship with each other.

About 2 months back however i looked at my life and the incompletness that i had to endure without my wife. I had a decent job , now stress, was going to church every now and then but my wife was not there. So i came back to her for a weekend - the moment we saw each other after 9 months of seperation we immediately rekindled our love for each other. That was when my wife revealed to me that she recieved two prohecies from two different individuals from accross the globe that were perfect matches. I still went back home ignoring the prophecies at first. I was missing my wife terribly but did not let one. About a month back i recieved information that my company had opened a office near where my wife worked and they had a vacancy for exactly the job i was wanting. My company offered to pay for me to fly up, my reallocation costs and they gave me a 60% increase!.......When God puts two people together no man, woman or thing can seperate the two. I thank God for my wife , i thank God for those people that have prayed for Gods will to be operational in our lives. I just wanted to share this testimoney..

*smile* thanks for your story, Nevin. I'm getting married in 24 days (oh man, it's coming up so fast! I have so much to do!!!), and it's good to be reminded how much God cares about our marriages.

When you say 'prophecies' - what do you mean? Are you talking about promises from God, through his Word? How did God speak to you?

That is a wonderful story Nevin, and so inspiring.

Last month we had our 30th wedding anniversary and my husband is still miffed at me because I forgot it. I knew something was coming up (so many birthdays, anniversaries etc. at this time of year) but I couldn't remember exactly what it was. Then someone mentioned Father's day, so I thought "that must be it" and went to give my husband his "father's day gift" on our anniversary. He says he is not miffed by it, but I know he is.

So, don't make that mistake on your 30th.

Anyway, I'm really happy for you.

God actually spoke to my wife via two unrealted prophets...one from Dubai a muslim converted to Christianity - as soon as she saw my wife (she did not know her from a bar of soap) she told my wife ...."your husband is coming back to you" and the same with another prophet

Brother Nevin,

God Bless you.

I will have been married 13 years this year. God has been and is Faithful. My wife is a beauty and a Blessing from God. Your story is a Blessing. Thanks for sharing it.

I know a couple who just got Married and then moved to Africa as Missionary's to an orphanage filled with Babies with AIDS. I pray for them everyday. I do well remember the first few months of my Marriage.

God is awesome. You are an encouragment my brother.

peace,

dave

We celebrated our 20th anniversary this weekend. As my Best man shared at our reception, "Marriage is the hardest thing, and the most rewarding thing you will ever undertake"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
