America is in the midst of World War 3. President Bush knows it. Kerry, Rodham-Clinton, Obama, Pelosi et al really haven't the foggiest. Only AMERICA stands between liberty in Christ and an Islamic Global Caliphate. For starters, Mr. President, please SECURE American borders south & north before WTC No. 2 occurs!

Of course he knows more than what he tells us in the media.

I'd be worried if he didn't, in fact.

For one, he knows what he has to deal with in the media. It doesn't matter what he puts out, because it will be spun to make him look like an idiot (like he needs help there... )

So, he remains guarded, and with good reason, too.

The best reason being that our lives are in the balance of what information he decides to put out. I don't mean in the general, national, sense- but in the terms of the troops who have to deal with this stuff every day. If the wrong stuff get's out, they are placed in more danger than what is normal over there.

But Buck, I have a question for you: You don't really think that Bush is the first President with secrets, do you? I mean, you do know that every leader we've ever had has had to keep secrets, right?

Especially the one's that have had to serve their terms during times of war, huh?

Is that really news?

Anyway.....

Why is this even in the news, anyway? It reminds me of when I was in Afghanistan and Geraldo came over for one of his idiotic visits. During his visit, he announced that he was reporting from a secret outpost next to the Pakistani border. The name of the area was given by him and soon, we had to close the camp because he compromised the place by letting the world know where and what it was.

What a complete moron. He was then ushered out of the country within 12 hours. That was the day after he had visited our area in the Khandahar area. If I remember correctly, this incident happened either right before, or right after he was kicked out of Iraq for doing the same kind of thing. In that episode, I think he was drawing some kind of strip map on an MRE box and got caught.

These people, in their quest to have their little time on tv, give away secrets which do severe damage to our efforts in these places. Just because they are aware of some piece of secret info, I guess, gives them the right to announce it in the news. By doing so, they seriously inhibit our ability to win at this war stuff.

And all of this after signing stuff in which they agreed not to say anything about what they see until it has been scanned by intelligence folks.

Prison is where they should be, not out selling books.

The NY Times did the same thing with the info concerning the wire tapping programs.

Now, I understand that things like Abu Graib should be exposed and fixed. That's not a problem at all, but instances like that are not what I'm talking about.

The ones I'm referring to are different. These people are let into these places and privileged with certain info so we can appear to be cooperating with the press, but it almost always backfires.

In just a generation and a half, we have so severely wrecked the "loose lips sinks ships" mentality and many have turned it into a campaign to make us look as inept as they possibly can.

The trouble is, our lives are put in danger so these people can either make a buck, or make a name for themselves.

We should let the criminals out of our prisons who have committed minor crimes, and replace them with the scum that seriously, and intentionally, put our troops in even greater danger by their words and actions.
