A Question for Roman Catholics

One of your infallible Popes, "Innocent III", burned a million people at the stake during his reign of terror. Many Bible-believing Christians were tortured to death during the inquisition. Roman clergy admits to this reign of terror, yet they claim it was justified and that Innocent III is a man worthy of emulation. I ask, why not also seek to emulate Adolf Hitler? I personally see no difference between the two characters. Both were Satanic, wicked and cruel.

Note: this is NOT an attack on precious Roman Catholic individuals, Children of God. This is an attack on the lie that is the Papacy!

Jude, Innocent is simply one of many "infallible" Popes who are not infallible because of what they have done, but because of who they are......... they are infallible because ...... well, because they say they are. Clearly an logical person could identify that they are not and there is only one who is, and would be Jesus Christ. I was a Roman Catholic for most of my life but I am simply a believer in Jesus Christ and His Word now. I left religion and entered into a personal relationship with God, my life has never been the same since.

There are many controversies that surround religion in my opinion they are a tool of the enemy also, but so is false religion. There is only One Way, One Truth, and One Life.

God Bless, Bethany

Juggernaut: I realize you love to come in here and play the buffoon; but who gave Haggard 'a pass'? He's been forced to resign in disgrace. We are sorry for one who has fallen into this mess; but that does not mitigate against the consequences of his wicked deeds.

But to the subject at hand: A million people? Where do you get this INSANE figure? That is so exaggerated as to be unrecognizable..........

By the way, before you fly off the handle, I should tell you I'm not Roman, just a Christian interested in facts.

Second, you seem to misunderstand the Roman doctrine of 'infallibility.' Not everything the Pope says or does is considered infallible in Roman Theology. Only when he speaks 'Ex Cathedra' and then ONLY on matters of faith or morals, are Papal pronouncements considered infallible. And that, my dear boy, has only happened 3 or 4 times in all history........

"Ex cathedra" is pure Vatican hyper-baloney. The Roman "pope" is a man, a sinner, like all of us today. The last time I checked,"There is no one who doeth good & sinneth not". Which Christian disciple or apostle functioned out of a "Vatican"? The Roman "papacy" is one cruel joke foisted upon an unsuspecting populace by those who decry the truth of Holy Writ. Peter himself had both a wife and a mother-in-law and he never abused either choir-boys or orphans. Peter had a mother-in-law & no gold. Today's R.C. "popes" have no mothers-in-law but plenty of gold! Keep watching, folks, because the "papacy" will take the lead in directing us to amalgamation with Muslim imams, Buddhist monks and Oprah-type "new agers" on the pathway to the coming antichrist! Romans 17 & 18 speak volumes to those with "ears to hear." Well, well, aren't we a mite skeptical tonight? Rightly so.

Ah come on guys if you are all willing to give Haggard a pass surly you can find it in your heart to do the same for the Pope(s). The Papacy is a direct link back to Jesus. Just ask them. If you have contradictory evidence it is not valid. Believe it or not there was a time when protestantism didn't exist and the Kings English wasn't spoken in the bible.

I say that God saw to it that Protestantism did come to pass. I understand the claim of the link to Jesus through Peter but wow seems to me a bit of a stretch of scripture. What makes a pope more special than you or me? Jesus is the only One who should be robed and crowned. W have a direct connection to Jesus, it is all we need. We are children of God working toward a common purpose, to glorify Him. Just give me more of Him, I want to see Jesus high on lifted up. :emot-heartbeat:

"Brood of vipers! how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned" (Matthew 12:34-37)

"Those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man" (Matthew 15:19).

"We hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies" (II Thessalonians 3:11).

"Shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness" (II Timothy 2:16).

Have a great one!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
