In Dire Need of Help!

Good Day Everyone,

I am here to ask for charity from others that have a kind heart for someone who is in need of help. I am a young mother that recently had a child and is in dire need to be able to provide for my son. I am looking for jobs currently, however I am desperate to be able to feed my child and keep a roof over his head

as we are without any money and our apartments are threatening to kick us out. This untimely tragedy for us came about from an online scam that I am unable to dispute due to lack of funds. I unfortunately do not have any family that is close by to be able to help. All I am asking for is for a donation of $0.25 sent to my paypal account so that I might be able to put some towards food and shelter for my small family. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Dear Julie,

I am wondering.........have you contacted your local church body? You might want to be in touch with a tangible "body of Christ" to help you in your time of need. Seek out a local Bible believing church, and ask them for help, and then continue to seek out God's Word through that church and the messages given. I think it would prove more profitable than a message board on the internet.

Besides what Suzanne told you, I believe every state and county has help set up in their governments to assist people who have fallen on hard times. My daughter was able to receive both food stamps and help with her rent till she got on her feet. She is now doing fine without government assistance. Part of your taxes go to support these agencies and so no one should feel bad about applying for help.

Asking for donations on line can often be misconstrued. We don't know WHO you are, WHERE you are, or whether or not you are telling the truth. As Christians, most of us feel obligated to "help those in need", but we are also cautioned in scripture to be wise. While I was stationed in the Panama Canal back in 1979, I was approached by our barracks cleaner for help in getting his daughter in from the out country to see a doctor. I was sympathetic and gave him a large amount. A few weeks later, knowing that I was a "soft touch", he approached me again with a similar request for money for food and clothes for his daughter. This time he reeked of alcohol on his breath. I told him I would take him and his daughter down and buy them some food and clothes, BUT he declined. So what did that tell me?

I have had similar incidents occur over the years, so I have learned the "hard way", to be WISE when someone starts asking for handouts.

I am not saying you fall into that category, but it would be better you approach someone near you that can SEE your situation and then provide help as needed.
