"The Hal Lindsey Report" officially aired for the first time on TBN at 7:30 p.m. Central time tonight (Friday), which appears will be its regular time slot.

The production values were sharp, and this was the Hal Lindsey I've grown to appreciate. Hal stated at the beginning of the show "I'm not a prophet, but a careful interpreter of Bible prophecy." His geo-political analysis and discernment of current events and how they relate to the End Time prophecies of the Bible are insightful, and I've never heard him utter or read anything from him that wasn't doctrinally sound.

Hal left TBN at the end of 2005 after he was told by TBN officials to "say nothing negative" about Muslims on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

According to Jack Kinsella, Hal's associate, "Hal is purchasing airtime from TBN, thus enabling him freedom in what he wishes to teach and speak about with no editorial interference..."

With TBN's false prophets and wolves in sheeps clothing abounding on their network, it's good to see Hal back at TBN preaching the Truth. Some are not happy Hal is having to pay TBN to not be censord, saying "Not happy to hear that he has to pay for free speech." But considering the times we're in, Hal's situation should not be surprising:

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake." (Luke 21:17 KJV)

But Hal knows where his fortune lies, which is why he's doing what he is:

"Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." (Matthew 5:12 KJV)

My husband and I are faithful watchers of Hal's reports also, we appreciate the news and prophecy too.He is a sincere brother in Christ and it's too bad that so many don't reconize a brother when they see one.. I feel he really risks his life to preach the truth and I often worry about his safety because of the truth he boldly states in his reports....

I guess some how we were spared the scandal with TBN though..We have been watching him on Angel One channel on Sunday evenings at 8:30. I always program my regular programs on auto-tune.

I watch very few things on TBN for the same reasons you mentioned....

I never had much of a problem with Hal other than the fact that he appeared on TBN. The he left and I thought," great,h e's seen the light". I guess I was wrong.

You're missing the entire point of how/why Hal returned to TBN Dan:

Hal left TBN at the end of 2005 after he was told by TBN officials to "say nothing negative" about Muslims on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

According to Jack Kinsella, Hal's associate, "Hal is purchasing airtime from TBN, thus enabling him freedom in what he wishes to teach and speak about with no editorial interference..."

Hal's website has been undergoing a 'rebuild' the last few weeks. Even so, there's no mention of his return to TBN on his TV schedule page.

I'm wondering why he's keeping it quiet...

what did you find wrong with hal's teaching? I have found him the best Bible teacher I have ever learned from bar none.

My relationship to the Lord has never, ever, been closer in my entire life then after I studied under Hal Lindsey. His teaching of the scripture is par excellence. He is an expert on world history. He is an expert on the Bible and Bible History and Bible Prophecy. What issue do you have?

Also not a big Hal Lindsay fan. But less a TBN fan. Hal could do much better with the money he is using with TBN.

I am no TBN fan, but he actually could not spend his money better. TBN goes into more homes per airtime dollar than any Christian broadcasting network. TBN is an excellent use of money, if they will sell you the time. TBN time is very hard to get.

Why aren't you a "Hal Lindsey" fan? Specifically, what is it about his teaching that you don't like or disagree with?

Hal Lindsey and TBN are a perfect fit in my opinion. False teaching galore.

I reject that comment completely. Hal Lindsey has never taught a "false" thing that I have ever read of his and i've read almost everything he's written. He is an expert on world history, Bible history, the Bible, Bible prophecy and the teaching of the scriptures. I love the man. I've never been closer to the Lord and I have to give a lot, a lot, of credit to Mr. Lindsey.

He goes straight by the Bible and I have to tell you, he's awesome. He's an awesome brother in Christ. God bless.

Not a big Hal Lindsay 'end times teaching' fan, but he had some good sources for "inside news." I'll be interested to see how he handles the new show.

I find that most people that say their not a big Hal Lindsey fan usually have some sort of problem with "end time" prophecy as God's word clearly talks about it; eg; they don't believe in a literal Bible translation. There is some kind of anti=Lindsey feeling out there but you never hear "specifically" what these people have against him which would be fair wouldn't it? It's sort of a soft attack on someone's charachter that's never quite backed up by anything, kind of like just being embarrassed about someone really for no reason that they can name. That ol' "herd mentality" thing.

This is sad. I never had much of a problem with Hal other than the fact that he appeared on TBN. The he left and I thought," great,h e's seen the light". I guess I was wrong. I did see Tammy Faye on TBN with Jan Crouch while channel surfing the other day. She really seem to fit right in.

Assuming TBN is the most terrible thing going. Why is it anymore wrong to buy its airtime than any other secular outlet's airtime?

I would imagine that Lindsay will be among the very best on TBN. Then again, maybe that's not saying all that much. He will give it the impulse it probably needs on the road back to sobriety because, well, sometimes that Jan lady can really tend to freak one out!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
