I am praying for you Ziev. Stand confident that God is more powerful and he will protect you. I am sure the demons can't stand God's holy presence. Stand in God's light and safety.

When I was a kid, my aunt brought one of those boards over for a party. I enjoyed it so much I bought one myself. I used to ask it questions, but it was slow in answering. Then my Grandfather brought me one he got from somewhere used, and this one would give answers lickety split. I remember one time it predicted my Father would be in an automobile accident. It gave a date, and told where he would be going. Sure enough, on that date, he was heading for the town it mentioned. I was afraid he would have an accident, and urged him not to go. He didn't believe the board, so I went back to it to find out where the accident would occur. My Father agreed to go a differen't way to avoid it. He didn't believe what I said, but was humoring me. No accident occured, but from that time forward, the personality of whatever was controlling the board turned vicious. It didn't want to answer questions, and one day when I said I wouldn't quit asking till I got the answers I wanted, it threatened to burn the house down. That is when I got rid of it, and have never touched another one since. They are evil. I used to think it was just a game, but each board had it's own personality behind it.

I agree 100% with Giaour that you should burn that Ouija Board and never touch one again.

My skin crawled just reading this.

Zeiv -

First - did you repent specifically of what you sought the board for - even if it was curiosity?

Second - do you believe God is faithful and just to forgive your sin and cleanse you of all unrighteousness?

Third - despite having made a dumb move, do you believe you have the authority in Christ to cast out demons? (Hint: you do!)

Fourth - did you speak forth taking back the ground your handed over to Satan?

Fifth - you command the demons to leave you go back to the pit?

Yes, we can pray, but you must do this.

Then ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you! :noidea:

Butero - I hope you repented, took back the ground you gave over to the demon(s) of the board, and cast them away from you.

I wasn't really a Christian at the time. I didn't get saved till age 17, and this was several years before that. I didn't even know what was behind the Ouija Board. I just looked at it as a game. I was just hoping that by relating my experience with it, others would think twice before getting involved with one.

Understood.

So, now that you are a Christian, have you done this?

What you did was very dangerous. Knowing how bad this is in His eyes, you chose to do it. Let this be a warning to others. Do not mess with the occult.

More than a warning.....messing with those things are more dangerous than most people know. They invite evil into your life, and can kill you. Spiritually for sure if not physically.

Once I got rid of the Ouija Boards, I never picked one up again. That experience terrified me, as you can imagine. I wouldn't have one in my house.

Great!

But I'm concerned, Butero.

You might have a demonic influence on you without realizing it. (That's not a condemnation - I've had enough demons influencing me to not think any less of a person for it.)

Will you now openly confess to the Lord your involvement with the Ouiji board?

Will you stand in faith to take back whatever ground you gave over to the enemy through that involvement?

Will you command those demons to leave?

(Hey, better safe than sorry, you know?)
