To all who find this helpful,

Just a few months ago I read through the left behind series and felt an urge to start a bible study with a few of my close friends. My friends where Christian but they only went through the motions (which was good) but i wanted to have the ability to press upon them the joy and satisfaction I had gained in coming closwer to God everyday. With a few eerie events that happend in my life that I felt where a sign for me to reach my friends I started up the bible study that consisted of 7 people and over the weeks I have watched them come closer to God, to ask more questions, and its been an amazing feeling to watch and see this occur!

This post is to do nothing but confront the facts that it takes to have God placed in your heart. Through my bible studies and studying myself I have came across some facts and opinions and wish to share what I feel and the steps of how i came to God. God is loving of all his children, just not those who have come to believe in him and accepted his ways. However, it is through him and in the belief that he sent his one and only Son to die for our sins that we will one day find ourselves worshiping at His feet in heaven. I calim to be no scholar on this subject and know very little, but what i do know i wish to pass on to those who are interested and want to know more!

I wish to explain what steps I took to allow for God to enter your heart so that you may one day be with him in heaven. First and most important you I accept that Jesus Christ was the son of God and that God sent him, Jesus, his one and only Son to die for our sins. In the old testament it was necessary for people to offer animal sacrafices to repent for their sins. God sent Jesus so that this would no longer be needed but that Jesus was a one time offering for all of man kind. Through him we can confess our sins in our prayers and be forgiven even though we are so unworthy of his forgiveness and love! His love and compassion for his children give us the ability to be forgiven when we are not deserving and we are so lucky to have such a privilage. After I accept that Christ was the Messiah I then, with my mouth in prayer, confess to God that I realized that I am a sinner and are unworthy but that I ask for his forgiveness and understand that Christ's sacrafice of pain and suffering upon the cross is all I needed to become one with God. Once I asked God for forgivness of the sins I have comitted I then asked him to lead me, to work through me in any way he saw fit, and that this life I understand that this life is merely a testing point and that if you wish to live a good life so that you may forever bask in His Glory in heaven forever.

This is just a simple and quick way of explaining this. I hope that if you are interested you will explore the bible and come upong your own opinions. If anyone wishes for more information please message me and i will be glad to try and help but the bible knows so much more than i and i claim to know very little but do wish to pass on what i do know! I hope this has been helpful for anyone who is Christian and has wondered how to become one with God or just for anyone interested in such a topic. I thank you for taking time to read this!

In the name of God - the True loving Father,

Hey! Amazing post!!!

When did accept Christ if you don't mind me asking? This is a huge blessing :24:

Except, one questions comes to mind.. many people claim to pray to God every night, but they have to pray through Jesus CHrist to get saved... so if one asks forgivesness through Jesus Christ, are they saved? Or does one have to ask Christ to come into his or her heart? :24:

I accepted Christ first as a 6 year old, at this age it was more so a going through the motion type of thing. However, at the age of 13, when i believe i was capable to grasp and understand what i was doing is when i feel i truly let God into my life. You do not have to pray through Jesus Christ to be saved. You must pray to God and confess with your mouth that you understand that God sent his one and only Son to die on the cross, so that we may have the ability to have our sins forgiven, and that it is through Jesus' pain that we are allowed to confess to God that we have sinned and wish to be forgiven. In order for me and God to become one i prayed to Him telling Him that i knew i was a sinner and that he sent Jesus to die for all of man's sins and that I wished for him to work through me, I gave him my heart. I told Him that I loved Him, my Father, for being so compasionate and forgiving since i know i do not deserve it. And at times i go away from that, its a fight to give him your heart everyday but it is the way he intends us to live our life, through him and with bible standards.

Thanks for the post. Keep sharing in your spirit! I grew up in a christian home but it was not until much later that I had a true turning of my heart to the Lord. I have to do this everyday still. I am reminded to die to myself and have the Christ in me live instead.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
