But time hasn't dimmed the brilliance of his recordings, which shaped modern country music. Now it looks like another batch may become available: dozens of songs he sang on a radio show sponsored by Mother's Best Flour in 1951-52. The settlement of a long-running lawsuit has apparently cleared way for the transcriptions of these 15-minute daily shows to be released on CD. The cache doesn't include any new songs that Williams wrote himself, but he sounded just as good doing other people's songs and country standards.
