  1. Perhaps naming the tribes they way they were named after Shlomo (Solomon)'s time: The Northern Kingdom, the House of EPHRAIM, and the Southern Kingdom, the House of JUDAH. a.
  2. At the risk of sounding like someone from Monty Python....he's not dead. Yet. He is very gravely ill, his family has been called in, and there has been *some* talk of shutting off the ventilator, but JoePa is still for the most part with us. a.
  3. No one is derailing the thread because Mormonism and Freemasonry go hand in hand. Oldzimm, while I like you and all, you are deluded about Freemasonry, like so many other people. Yes there are people who can be Freemasons and "good Christians". However, if they choose to scale the upper eschelons (degrees), they discover to their horror the truth of it. You haven't chosen to do so, therefore you still think there's "nothing wrong" with it. Not far away from where I live, there's a Baptist church. On the grounds of that church is a Masonic temple. Every day I walked past that place and thought to myself, wow, if those good Baptists only knew the truth. Most "Christian Freemasons" don't know the truth. I didn't. Not until I learned about it. I grant you, most "Christian Freemasons" don't want to recognize the truth when they see it, when it's proven to them and the truth is hitting them square in the face. Just like everything else, it's deny, deny, deny. That's how the devil works. Satan wants to put a "galut" (veil) over people's eyes about Freemasonry because it's the "upper eschelons" of Freemasonry that give him the worship he wants. Those Freemasons that are 30th degree and up, that's when they start learning the truth about what they believe. Most Freemasons don't want to go that high. They think it's just a happy little brotherhood, when in reality it's something far different than they believe. Unfortunately, the same applies to Mormonism. Because Mormonism is so closely based on Freemasonry (Joseph Smith being a 33rd degree), the same can be said there. Most Mormons don't know about the "upper eschelons" of Mormonism, because the one Temple they either are forbidden to go to or have to get a "Temple invitation" to, is in SLC. The temples in their local cities obviously don't do that. Ask questions, do some history. I started out looking into Freemasonry and Mormonism, because I didn't understand either of them. I did a lot of reading, a lot of studying, and I asked a lot of questions. What I found out is exactly what I'm telling you: Mormonism is Freemasonry couched in "Christian" terms. Sorry. a.
  4. I dunno. I hear the name Tony Perkins, I think of the dude from Psycho.....
  5. Um, coming from you, that's rich, kid. You're 15....I saw a post recently from you that said "I know EVERYTHING"....yeah...the fact is, you know NOTHING. You take those who are older than you to task because you THINK you know "EVERYTHING"....You violate everything in Scripture when it says to respect your elders. You obviously don't care, and choose to continue to argue simply because you want to prove that you know EVERYTHING, when in fact again you know NOTHING. I feel sorry for you, kid. You have no respect for anyone. We have people here who know Mormons, who live among Mormons and who actually have Mormons IN THEIR OWN FAMILIES, yet you continue to disbelieve them and argue. Why don't you go play with your XBox and let people who know how to debate do that job? a. PS. I am sorry this came across as attacking, but the one thing I cannot stand is a 15 year old knowitall who knows NOTHING. Worse yet, he continues to show he knows NOTHING by pointless and stupid arguments. Perhaps this is what he wants--to provoke someone into telling him off. If that's the case, OK, I fell into it hook line and sinker. But, I can't stand seeing someone who is relatively "intelligent" proving himself to be stupid time after time.
  6. Mormon doctrine changes as the outside world finds inconsistencies in it's doctrine and exposes them. Such as problems with the Book of Mormon. The fundamental doctrines of the Christian church has not changed in almost 2000 years. Wrong. This is getting a bit ridiculous, don't you think. Cobalt has intimate knowledge of Mormons and your sole refutation is "wrong"??? Let's please have a mature evidence based discussion. Candace, as much as I hate to say this...you cannot have a "mature" discussion with someone who is NOT "mature". Justinian is only 15---and he's arguing with his elders. Wow. a.
  7. Here we go again, "The evils of Freemasonry" and "The myths of Freemasonry" . I thought I heard them all, but this is the first time I ever heard about Mormons and Freemasons being connected. Will wonders never end? Maybe I should write a book on the myths of Freemasonry. Go get yourself a copy of the video. Better yet, go ask a Mormon about it and watch them sweat. I've done it. a.
  8. He's 15. He thinks he knows everything. I'm 50 and I know NOTHING except the love of Y'shua. Never match wits with a half-wit. a.
  9. From some of my studies about Mormonism: 1) Joseph Smith was not only a pathological liar, he also was a 33rd degree Mason. The "special protective underwear", and a lot of Mormon religious practices are actually derived from Freemasonry. 2) The history of the Mormons has of course evolved over the centuries. If anyone really wants to know what they believe I suggest they get themselves a copy of the video "The Godmakers". Mormon hierarchy has forbidden any Mormon to obtain and/or possess this movie. In it, they stretch their beliefs to the unimaginable, by saying that all Mormons are alien beings from the planet Kolon, that Jesus and Lucifer were equal brothers, and that God cursed the followers of Lucifer with black skin. 3) Once a Mormon gets to the (I believe) higher eschelons of Mormonism, like Freemasonry, they throw all pretense aside and worship Lucifer. 4) They base their polygamy beliefs on the fact that when a Mormon dies, he takes all his wives with him and spend eternity having endless celestial sex. I could go on, but there are just some things that are difficult to swallow. And Romney believes ALL of this. a.
  10. Here's the issue, as I see it: 1) Romney's a Mormon---his dad was born in Mexico, which makes Mitt----an anchor baby....(this is just a joke, y'all...) 2) If Romney was elected, how much of a chance do you think of him getting a bill passed for him to sign that reinstates polygamy? Quite a bit, actually. I read a piece on him on msnbc.com, and his grandfather moved their family to Mexico to get away from the persecution. Most of the Mormons that moved into Mexico were polygamists. 3) The state of Utah was admitted to statehood after the Mormons did one thing: they had to ban polygamy in order to become a state of the Union. Again, it is very possible that Romney can reverse this situation, however, as I understand it (and I *might* be wrong), if Utah votes to reinstate polygamy, that will violate their agreement with the US and *possibly* revoke their statehood. I don't agree with Romney, but I lived in the state of Michigan most of my life and his dad, George, was a pretty decent guy. However, I have this feeling that people are going to vote either for Romney or for Obama because there is no one else in the running that's "stable" enough. Gingrich (Mr. Getting-Rich) is unreliable, and you don't want to hear my opinions on Ron Paul, trust me. I'd rather see Santorum in the executive office.
  11. Messianic Jews and Hebrew Roots folks (Hebrewcostals, like I am, LOL) teach that Yeshua's birthday fell during the Feast of Tabernacles, which would put it at September/October. My congregations actually has a cake for Yeshua on the 2nd day of the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles, Booths). It is likely that your article could be correct with the Magi coming in around December 25, but they wouldn't be coming to a manger....by then Yosef, Miriam and Yeshua would be heading back to Netzerat (Nazareth). a.
  12. I really hate to bring levity to such a serious topic...however...I was going to ask what maggots had to do with Christianity...then I re-read it....I guess that's what I get for computing without my glasses on... a.
  13. This particular fruitcake has as one of its main components, rum, which is likely why it's been so "well-preserved" for so long. If someone were to partake of a slice, I would think that they would bomb any standard field tests for field sobriety. a.
  14. I shudder to think what would happen to this country if China happens to call in the notes that the US owes them......
  15. You know, I have to believe that's quite brave of ministers to take a step back and really examine what their lives are doing not only to themselves but to others. I admire these ministers who are acknowledging God's leading and finding fault within themselves. After all, they are the examples to their flock, and if the shepherd is faulty, what does that do to the sheep? Bravo to these men for following the leading of YHWH! a.
  16. well now that you mention it Neb, I'm ashamed to say that I have not...... yet. Don't feel bad....there's a post in the Prayer Requests thread asking prayer for her. The shocking thing I discovered was, I joined a FB group last night called "Justice for Caylee"...this morning one of the posters left a message that kinda bothers me....it said "Morning, is Casey dead yet?" My mouth dropped when I read that. Is there a lot of people out there calling for this? I sure hope not, that makes us no better. a. Even though she looks guilty, I can't see sitting back hoping someone kills her when we don't know for sure? We are supposed to be innocent till proven guilty. If you are found not guilty, and then people continue to treat you like you committed the crime anyway, there is a problem with the system, or at least the way we look at it. If she did kill her child, the Lord will deal with her on judgement day. While there are a lot of people that won't like the comparison, we are murdering 1.5 million babies legally each year through abortion. Why don't we have similar outrage? God will deal with all of these people when they stand before him in his righteous court room. Very true and, when we stand in His courtroom, His verdict is final and there is no appeal. People need to get beyond this verdict and stop wishing Casey Anthony dead (or making threats against her and her family). We are a society that lives by our laws, not some theocracy where mob rule prevails. Hey some of these "morons" (for lack of a better term) have been issuing death threats against the jurors in the case as well. All they did was their "civic duty" and people want them dead? Doesn't make sense to me....
  17. My hometown of Pontiac, Michigan has the highest unemployment rate of cities in the nation. That one city alone is roughly 30% unemployed, due to the closure of the Pontiac Division of General Motors. So the fact that the national rate has risen doesn't surprise me. I've been out of work for 2 years now, and it doesn't look like (there for the grace of YHWH) it will change any time soon. a.

  19. No, one of the jurors wanted to get it over with because they were leaving on a cruise and didn't want to cancel it. That's the stupid excuse for "doing their duty"... How did you find out about this, Anita? Did the juror admit this in public? One of the alternate jurors said it. Hey, I don't know if this is true or not.

  21. I think you've hit on another subject Fez. This woman was declared not guilty by our court system, but practically the whole country has condemned her...... how will she ever function in this society. It's a glaring example of why these trials should never be broadcast to the open public. Who's going to hiire this woman for a job. It's likely she can never get a job--previous to this she had 6 felonies for check fraud.
  22. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm discussing the case.
  23. That is what is so frustrating about this case. There is no DNA evidence or any other evidence that links Casey Anthony with the duct tape. They don't know who put the duct tape there. That is the thing. Most people with any amount of commonsense knows she is guilty. The circumstantial evidence against her is like a giant neon sign with 20 arrows pointing at her, but getting the necessary DNA evidence, pinpointing the exact cause of death and finding the murder weapon is the problem. And now because the prosecution messed up, even if all of that evidence found later, she cannot be retried for 1st degree murder. Just about all they can do now is bill her for the cost to the state of Florida for the expenses incurred by law enforcement going off on the wild goose chases resulting from her lies. She has got to be the most hated woman in the America, just now. There are death threats against her on Facebook and other places. They will have to put her in protective custody, take her out of state, create an entirelly new identity, change her name, her hair, her SSN, and literally make her over as a new person. I would not even rule out plastic surgery (albeit that might be taking it too far). She won't be appearing on any talk shows, writing any books or anything. Well, she hasn't ruled out writing a book, having another child or adopting (which won't happen simply because of what has occurred here). She can likely make millions, but I can emphatically tell you what she WON'T be doing----going to her parents when she's out of jail. They basically want nothing to do with her. a.
  24. I would've thought after that rattlesnake bit you on the toe you'd take to wearing shoes again at church!!! Naaa....after it bit it smelled my feet and died....didn't hurt me at all...
