I know that Jesus suffered many horrible things physically but how much of what he went through here was like our spiritual suffering?

I mean, did he always know that he was the christ and that he had a future or nice things waiting for him? Did he always feel that justice would be done? Did he have poor self esteem ever?

Because I know that I'd rather go through what he did physically than live in the spiritual state that I'm in.

As a human being I think that all of us are subject to some things that don't seem likely for Jesus to have suffered. So, I want someone with the Holy Spirit to tell me what to think about this. And please don't say anything unless your channeling the REAL Holy Spirit.

The suffering was total; Jesus did not get a reprieve in his psyche. Read the crucifixion accounts, His suffering was not just physical by any means. He was sweating blood, begging God to let Him not have to go through with it, but yet said "your will be done", not mine.

But yeah you have a point; physical suffering is not really the crux of it. Ask anyone who has had their child die, they would tell you that they would gladly suffer and die in that child's place, their suffering is far beyond the merely physical.

Did Jesus ever have to live in fear of an eternity he didn't want?

When he wanted to die rather than go through with it, Did he think that he'd be on that cross forever?

Jesus had it rough.... Joseph passed away early on leaving Mary to raise Jesus [along with any other children she may have had] by herself... there are alot of people who have had something similar happen to them in their childhood. And than... he starts his minstry and no one [and I mean no one] will take him seriously... he is dismissed time and time again for being a "blashphemer, demon possessed, crazy, the list goes on". Many people tried to kill him because of his teachings.... one of his greatest freinds handed him over for exucution... under false charges I may add.... his motivation? 30 bucks [can you imagen your best freind killing you because he wanted some spare change?]. At the time of his greatest need... his freinds deserted him and Peter openly denied him. Also than... the cross of course. Yeah... I'd say Jesus had it hard.

now there's an intresting quistion.... we know God doesn't send people to Heaven against their will... but does he send people to Hell against their will? It has always seemed to me that the people who go to heaven desire heaven and the people who go to hell desire hell [though it seems crazy]. God never imposes on someone elses freewill... so if someone doesn't wanna go to Hell... than i doubt they will go. the reason God's children DO go to hell is it seems some people prefer Hell to Heaven.

No, because Jesus was and is God. The book of Hebrews tells us that Jesus is the one who is created the ages. Jesus is control of everything that happens. He is the architect of the universe. Jesus controls eternity. Eternity will be exactly as Jesus made it to be.

Shilo is correct.

However Christ was also fully human there is no suffering that we feel today that Christ did not feel and overcome.

Now this is a mystery, just as the Trinity is a mystery, fully God, fully human. I would speculate (my personal speculation here not scripture) that it would have been even more horrible for Christ who is God than to us, because He become a human and to have to suffer at the hands of slimy little rotten sinful humans, when He could have, as He said in scripture wipe them out with a nod to His angels, would have been unbearable. Consider becoming an ant, and then letting the worker ants destroy you limb from limb when you had the power to simply crush them with your boot. I can't imagine loving ants that much, but Christ did indeed love us that much.

Part of dying that way is a common ailment for humanity. How many of us haven't died from diseases or wild aniamls.

I feel that it may perhapse be harder to live with no reasonable future, once and forever totally dependant on someone way superior to you in every way.

Try never being who you wanted to be, never escaping the shame of who you became. And you know that in all of eternity it'll just be more of the same.

You being someone elses scum underfoot getting way better than they deserve. And if you don't like it, theres plenty of room outside...

But just look at this, how many of you have ever had to know just how little you've got going for you? The best off in this world certainly isn't you and they aren't even going to get any of the things everyone else will have because they're inherently better. For all time you will all have a million people who are just plain, better made than you, And they will deserve to be blessed, they are after all better than you could ever be. More rightous, more like Jesus. Or maybe so different that you could never comprehend being like them.

Jesus, knew his future was worth something if he could trust God. And it is, just look at it. He is someone free. Free to be righous, free to not be under others, free to be more like God than any of us could ever be. And there isn't a thing in the universe and beyond that he doesn't have.

I don't want any future like my past here. To live a better version of what I know. I'll always be who I am. I can't fix that. I don't care if my sins are forgiven or not, I'll alway be who I became here. And I'll always be treated as such.

If you ask me, Jesus might not have known what humanity was on the inside. I don't think he ever will. I don't think he has to.

Humanity, is being flawed beyond all reason from birth, and always getting what you deserve. And thats always less than everyone else gets.

This is just not right.

Jesus knew more pain, disease and sin than you could ever endure! He bore all of it! He certainly knows what humanity is like on the inside--ugly, vile and sinful and hell-bound!

BUT!! He came to give you abundant life, reconditioned. He came to turn your world upside down and to make you a conqueror---not a victim!

Come to Jesus today, reconditioned. Accept His ransom payment for your ticket to hell! He bore all your pain, sorrow, shame, disease and sins on His own body, so you could be free of it all!

In the natural, we do deserve hellfire. But the supernatural God stepped into history and paid the price--now we can become worthy sons and daughters of the Most High God! Free! Free of sin and degradation! We are now joint-heirs with the One who defeated it all: Jesus Christ!

Come to Him tonight! Nail all your burdensome sin and pain to the Cross, and let Jesus' blood wash you clean!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
