Do you know what also very good in the morning?

It keeps you full for a long time,

I make it every morning and sometimes also for a snack:

3 tblsp old fashion oat meal

1 tblsp raisins

boil this slowly and after is done add a little milk.

stir in about 1 or 2 tblsp flaxseed meal , 5 or 6 almonds (raw) ,1 or 2 tblsp sunflower seeds (raw)

Serve with little brown sugar and cinnemon!!

Yammy!!! This is also a good comfort food!

Your such a good girl aren't you, my idea of breakfast is a sausage biscuit and a medium orange juice from McDonald's.

Now that is just my kind of breakfast! :thumbsup: Here is what we have been doing-we keep a tupperware with this topping in it:in food processor grind up walnuts, whole raw flax seed, brown sugar and cinnamon. We put this on top of Mother's Own oat bran cereal, then top off with a little hazelnut soy coffee creamer. The kids like to put this walnut/flax seed/brown sugar/ cinnamon topping in their applesauce as well. :) I am going to try almonds and sunflower seeds with this as well now.

For me, sometimes breakfast is something like a roasted chicken breast fillet, a bowl of strawberries and some light yogurt.

Other times, I will hardboil some eggs grab some toast and cottage cheese. Cottage chees is also great in pita!!

You take a head of cauliflower, and break it up into popcorn size pieces. Then you put it the largest ziploc bag made. Drizzle in tbsps of olive oil and two tbspns Mrs. Dash. I recommend the original. Close up the bag and shake, shake, shake. Shake the bag good until everyhting is mixed real good.

Then you spread it out on a cookie sheet. do not use baking pans. For some reason it makes everything nasty and soggy. Bake for an hour at 350. It will toast the caulflower and the edges will get dark some edges will blacken a bit. That is just normal.

The cauliflower should be hot and somewhat crunchy and the Mrs dash that has been toasting along with it will give it a little zip. Great to eat on your favorite "TV night."

That really sounds good! I'm going to try it. I like it raw, too.

I take raw Cauliflower to lunch at work. It is sooo good. I also like it with ranch dressing or jsut about any dressing!! ;)

Roasted chicken in the morning? Too much work!

salade made with :

spring leaves lettuce or roman lettuce

tomatoes

cucumber

cut up garlic

1 tblsp raisins

5 almonds

1 tblsp sunflower seeds

sprinkle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and little honey and top with lots of 1% cottage cheese!!

Believe me you will not be hungry! And it taste soooo good ;)

You can put your own fruit in it and it's good--better than the sugared kind.

I know and you can also add flaxseed and 1 pkg splenda :) (Or any other kind of cereal)

That would be my limit for the day 1 pkg ,I don't believe too much artificial sugar is healthy for you.

I'm eating my oatmeal right now.....its so good :):)
