I think they brought good attention to pressing needs but I don't trust that group of people to actually use the money wisely. Hollywood has a terrible track record of actually getting the money to the people who need it. I decided to continue giving to charities I knew would actually use the money for the purpose stated. Sorry just can't trust Ellen D, Disney, Ford, Hollywood etc. At no time did I see any commitment on what % of donations would actually go to the causes and how much would be chewed up in "administrative". and how much would be used to promote an agenda?
