I'm gonna dye my hair blonde and turn into a Marnie.

Seems it's the 'in' thing to do these days.

I'll race you to the hairdressers, Worthboarders :noidea::):24:

I say this is the most positive loving way possible: one Marnie in the world is enough!

And you, Mike, are the guy who's blessed with the one-and-only original.

Instead of getting a machine, you could just get a nice dumbell set and a few videos from here: http://www.firmdirect.com/firm/ecs/main/index.html

For all the other exercise equipment, I have been able to use stuff around the house. Such as a hard suitcase for the lower step, a wooden toy box with flat lid for the higher step (dont use a box that is too high!!!!), and a mop for the long dowel they use. I really love these videos. I feel GREAT afterwards! :whistling:

You never heard of Jack Lalaane?? Omigosh! Yes, he was a pioneer in home fitness. He had a daily TV show way back in the 60's and 70's, and all he used was a chair and a mat. He's up in his 80's now I guess, looks great and his hocking some kind of juicer now.

thank u for your replies people. i will try to limit the carbs and sugars but, i doubt that will happen :noidea: . as for the smaller meals, i have a really whacky appetite. sometimes when i work overnights, i just go straight to bed when i get home which means i will have dinner for breakfast. most times i just dont feel like eating in the morning  . i guess my best bet for now are the resistance machines. which takes us to my next question:

do you guys have any suggestions for a good machine? i was thinking of getting a bowflex (saw a commercial on TV) but, it would take me forever to pay off, they are so expensive!

I just paid off my husband's bowflex, since its still sitting in storage, can i ship it to you?
