Thank you SP for such a big hug this morning. I needed that.

I was doing fine until about 20 minutes ago. It was then that I received an e-mail which has caused me to break down crying once again.

I am just so sensitive!! But hey! that is the way that God created me!

EVERY time satan throws something at you, immediately turn right back around and give it to God, then make yourself think of a blessing God has given you and thank Him for it, let all of satans arrows just make you turn to the Lord more! Thats what I try to do when I get depressed and satan tries to tell me all of the things against me. If satan wants to hurt you, let it make your prayer life richer, and make you talk to God more. And there are MORE things to thank our God for, than satan has arrows and I firmly believe that!

A word from the Lord this morning.

Psalm 3

O Lord, I have so many enemies;

so many are against me.

So many are saying,

"God will never rescue him!"

But you, O Lord are a shield around me,

and he answered me from his holy mountain.

I lay down and slept.

I woke up in safety,

for the Lord was watching over me.

who surround me on every side.

Arise, O Lord!

Rescue me, my God!

Slap all my enemies in the face!

Shatter the teeth of the wicked!

Victory comes from you, O Lord!

May your blessings rest on your people.

Hi all,

I went out this afternoon. What a lot of activity there has been here while I have been out.

- is so good except that I don't seem to be able to do it in practice. Every time that I get knocked down, it seems as though my faith just disappears. I don't know how to learn to do that because when I have been knocked down I am in no fit state to remember the best thing to do - ie to follow your advice. It frustrates me as it makes me feel even more of a failure as a Christian! Does that make sense to you?

Fiosh, I agree. It is very good advice. I just wish that I could do it, but when I am flat on my face I seem to forget everything that I should do.

The e-mail was from my employers. They want me to retire because of my health problems.

4given1 - Thank you for that Psalm. It really is a good one for me today. I had never thought to pray that God would shatter the teeth of my employers!!! I have even put an exclamation mark in my Bible next to that verse!!! I like the victorious end to the Psalm!

Bib - Thanks for asking. I don't know. I think that I am OK, but in a split second, I can be devastated again. It is so hard because I feel so fragile and I can be devastated by the smallest thing.

The good news is that I am not devastated at the moment, I am not crying and I am not suicidal, so taking everything into consideration, it must be a good day!!!!!
