:24: P.T.S.D. is treatable but not with medication. It is an spiritual/emotional condition brought about by trauma. Trauma is the door point for P.T.S.D. and only through the intervention of God's hand is one healed of it.

Been there.

Praise the Lord for your input, like minded.

Amen and Amen! ;)

No problem! God calls us to lift one another up and edify each other. Isaiah is most definitely a good place to look for encouragement. especially in that later chapeters. Here is a little more soul food, to feed the vast emptiness...

Is 43:1-5

But, now, thus saith the Lord who created thee, O Jacob, and He who formed thee, O Isreal, Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by they name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee... fear not; for I am with thee..."

Is 40:31

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with sings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint"

What you are thursting for is the word of God. It will heal and protect you. Satan has no defense that can break the word of God. I even say it out loud to make sure Satan hears loud and clear that I am going to lean on God to get me through my trials and that Satan will not have my life. Believe me i have been in your shoes, travelling those vallies in the shadows and it is scary! But God will come through for you. Use His word as a weapon! YOU ARE HIS and HIS ALONE!!!!

Tell Satan to "BACK OFF!! I SERVE ONE MASTER AND THAT IS GOD! and guess what GOD always wins!

also remember Satan attacks those who are living for God to try and ruin their testamony... take it as a compliment that God has given you a trial that HE will lead you through. God wants you to be His ever faithful sevent!

God blesses you today with a struggle in which you will honor Him with!

Great verses - Thanks! :whistling:

One thing that I have realised only recently is that I am scared of speaking to Satan. Does that make sense to you? - so the idea of telling him to BACK OFF! freaks me totally. I believe that God always wins, but I am frightened to tell Satan that and Satan knows that I am afraid!

I completely understand!!!! it is very difficult to talk back to satan and remind him that God is the ruler of your life. That is why I started off by just quoting scripture out loud as loud as i could so that i couldn't hear the thoughts satan was trying to put in my head. and slowly i moved to Back off! God's in controll kind of my life attitude. dont' get me wrong i backslide and i struggle. but i know that satan is scared of God's perfect word, satan doesn't like the truth he likes to twist it just enough to send us in the wrong direction! satan never just slaps u upside the head with random junk... he manipulates the truth into some slightly whorpped (sp?) idea and then as you travel it gets farther and farther from the truth with out you noticing. We best be on guard and take up the riegns and say "BACK OFF!" don't be affraid to say it out loud!

i want to pray for you!

- Heavenly Father, I ask that you would be with Afal. She is seeking for your help father and is struggling with satan's twisted ways. Father i ask that you would encourage her, that you would lift this weight, that you would just lay your hand on her and comfort her every breath with your truth. Father, she is your sheep in need. As you tells us that the good shephered will not leave one not one sheep behind, please come to her. Father give her the courage to tell satan to back off, and that she will only serve one master. Father i ask this not just for afal, but for each of us who are struggling in doubts, in mounds of sin. Father reach out and protect our thoughts, fill them with your truth! I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

ps- if you ever need someone to chat with please feel free to aim me, my sn is yoddlevet. i'm not always on and if there is an away message up leave a message because sometimes i'm not too far from my computer.

))))))))))))))))))))))) psssssssssssssssssssst! Afal ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

I'll tell you a secret, but you gotta promise not to tell anyone else.

There have been times in my life that I've been afraid of Satan, too. I've felt weak and unable to stand against him.

At those times, I've cried out to my Father, my Abba, Daddy, to send His angels to chase old hairy legs away from me, and to take me into the protection of His loving arms. :24:

Try it sometime. :whistling:

And don't tell anyone what I said. :24:

Love,

Fiosh

Old hairy legs isn't afraid of me. He's afraid of me and Jesus.

James 4: 7-8

"So submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"

Read it again Afal, "Resist the devil, and he WILL flee from you. " Not he might. He WILL.

You can bank on it. :whistling:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
