New Law/American D.L. requirements for all states

I heard of a new law that has passed in America that requires all states to place a microchip (or strip) on our Driver's lic. that contains all of our personnal information by May 12th, 2008, and without this new chip we will not be able to buy or sell. This law also will allow states to put microchips into people's bodies so that all their info. is on it and they will be able to be tracked every where they go.

It appears that the government is paving the way for the anti-christ to put his mark on the people.

I am not an alarmist, but I would like to know if this has truly been passed and I would like to hear what you all think about it from every point of view.

I heard this on Jack Van Impe's broadcast. Go to jvim, click on t.v. program and watch the July 11th, 2007 broadcast.

Dr. Van Impe teaches prophecy in the news and is very well read. Please, check it out. It is only 30 minutes long.

I would love to hear some more input also.

they may be considering a bill to this affect, but no law has been passed. when's the last time you had to have your DL scanned to buy a stick of gum at the store? heck, when's the last time you had to even SHOW your DL, unless you were writing a check or using a credit card without your photo on it?

i've not heard of a single person in any state that has been required to go get their DL changed over to a new format that includes a microchip.

so while i don't doubt there is discussion about someday implementing it, it certainly hasn't passed into law yet.

furthermore, i'm not concerned about a chip in my DL. when they start wanting to implant one in my body, then i'll start throwing temper tantrums.
