Amen, Joe. :24:

Just because a person looks like hell when you see them doesn't mean they're going to hell when they die. It may be they've been beaten with a few rods and stones you didn't happen to see.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. As Christians, we tend to judge way too much by tangible appearances, disregarding God's warning that only He can judge a person's heart. It's good to be "slow to speak" on a person's behalf or, if we must, let it be only good. How we judge others is how we'll be judged one day. God prefers mercy and kindness.

amen.... The attacks she came under for her faith..Reminds me of when Jesus was in the garden and he asked the apostles. could you ' not pray with me' for 1 hour. I loved when Moses had his two friends help his arms from falling down. You are blessed to find one friend like that. Although people being around her..she must have felt so alone at times like the rest of us get...... patricia1

Amen. Even Jesus said it's better for two to walk together than one alone. It seems the "friends" she had were not true friends because they've exposed her deepest secrets, things she felt during spiritual battles. What a nightmare. Of course, King David had some things put into the Bible I'm sure he wished were forgotten. Sometimes I think we believers are ALL an open book and a target for higher powers amusing themselves.

I walk alone too, it's not fun.

To Read This Dear One's Pleads For Spiritual Support Just Shames Me To No End.

She Was Pleading For Prayers From Her Brothers And Sisters.

I Never Knew Her But Still She Had My Prayers.

I Could Have Prayed More.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Romans 12:9-16

Dear LORD

Teach Me To Pray

Oh What A Wonderful You Are

Thank You For Brothers And Sisters

Bless You My Lord, My God

The Light Of My Heart

Hallelujah

In Jesus

Love, Joe

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A book of letters written by Mother Teresa of Calcutta reveals for the first time that she was deeply tormented about her faith and suffered periods of doubt about God.

-- I no longer pray."

Sounds like every Christian's struggle with satan, he's always trying to cause doubt in followers of Jesus.

I don't know if that was her case or not.

Early summer, I was speaking to my brother-in-law about Jesus and I asked him:

If Mother Teresa were to stand in front of God and tell Him how many good works she's done to deserve Heaven but she never believed in Jesus, would she still be allowed into Heaven?

Then I asked:

If a man who spent his life living in sin and self service trusted Jesus just before he died, would he be allowed into Heaven?

I had to explain why it wouldn't be Mother Teresa if she didn't believe in Jesus. He thought that was ridiculous.

I got verbally crucified by my husband's catholic-professing family for that one...

Cajunboy:::: I think a lot of her life that was written about is just another way the media (ie. Life Magazine) can throw rocks at the Catholic Religion! You know guys, I don't know if anyone has thought about it but actally, "each time we sin, aren't we basically saying that we are doubting the validity of God just a bit more? If you truly trusted God and HIS promises for us, wouldn't we NOT SIN instead? " At least Mother Thresa was honest enough knowing that the media and public was always scrutinizing her EVERY word.

Let's not be comfused about who is at battle here. It's not the church that is the target! It's Jesus Christ! God Himself is the target because the war is not between flesh and blood. The war is between God and satan and satan is trying to render us ineffective. How it manifests itself in the natural (world) realm is through the struggles of people like Mother Theresa, you and I. satan can only mess with the mind and body, but not the spirit man. satan tried to wear her down...render her ineffective for the cause of Christ Jesus. Now I don't know if she got into heaven, but I would venture to say that we she stands before that Great White Throne...she's getting in. Through her letters, we get to see her as human. At Gethsamene, we saw Christ's human nature...remember Christ is fully man and fully God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
