Do you know exactly what you "CROSS " to bare IS???

Most of us just automatically "assume" that OUR CROSS TO BARE on an individual basis is merely the ONE major obsticle that we believe satan threatens us with most of our lives.. For some it may be drugs; others it may be alcohol; others it may be some form of sexual sin; and the list goes on and on . But if this is so and many of us conquere these crosses at or in the process of "being saved," and we resolve that "Cross, " then what's next?

Something got into my "discernment recently and I've been tossing this about in my head; God knows there's plenty of room in there! lololol

But seriously folks...What if God meant, when HE talks about our cross, that HE we referring to our stubborness to TRUST HIM FULLY ! Because, when I boils right down to it, when we sin, wouldn't our sin be very much like saying that "we don't trust God" when we're saying and believing in the opposite????

Just wanted to run this by you fine folks, because it suddenly occurred to me that we take many things in the Bible for granted without thoroughly thinking them through some times just because it fits perfectly into our little box with our Bible! For instance, I've been reading the Bible for nearly 45 years now and I've always imagined that I knew exactly what "Free Will" meant and where I had seen it in the Bible on so many occassions. Now, of all the questions and responses I've proposed on this forum alone, I was speak to my Christian family here and someone...out of the clear blue just casually mentioned that the term "Free Will" is not really mentioned or explained in the Bible and in the text that we "assume" (there's that word again) it to be. Well, in a sense, that person knew exactly what he was saying....Because, you may see "will" or the term will combined with other words that describe it , in the Bible many , many times.....But to say that the term Free Will is fully explained ......Guess What???? Thus, it has to be "assumed" that someone "coined" that term a very long time ago and it "stuck" with the Bible and the Believers ever since.

When I think about the "cross to bare" I think about everyone in the whole world and what everyone in the world is "baring".

If you change your perspective from just you and see the world as a whole, your "cross" becomes significantly smaller.

I'm not concerned about minor problems as much when I look at much worse problems in this world around me.

Since we can't change the world, we can only depend on Him to do it, and He will.

Nothing "haunts" me. I gave all my problems to God and now I AM doing things to make my surroundings better, with God's help. He teaches me what to do every day and I depend fully on His guidance. I have many reasons to complain about things going on in my life right now but what good does complaining do? no good whatsoever. True, it's good to get small aggravations off your mind once in a while, to a trusted friend, but then it's good to release the problems to God. He can handle any size load we "bear". It feels good to know that and I'm reminded everyday when He delivers that promised peace.
