Education is the responsibility of the individual to obtain it, use it to the best of their ability to open up opportunities to further their education and to secure their future. There are children who are in circumstances where they do not have a choice because of a multitude of reasons. To be disadvantaged in society with odds stacked up against you, dirt poor, living in remote/dangerous areas, limited job prospects....education is just a dream and not even a thought to people like these. Now Neb, that's not a fair deduction when you consider that I've had 2/3 time that amount of education AFTER elementary grade...And YES, many were male instructors from that point. How many male teachers did you have in elementary school? about 50% of the teachers in the schools i was in were male teachers......( elementary school ) then in 7th grade, had 1 female teacher out of six, 8th, had one all male teachers, 9th, all but one was male, 10th, had two out of 7 that were female (one being gym) 11th, 2 female, 12, no female teachers (only had 4 classes) the majority of my teachers through out k-12 were male..... my college classes were all male so far, and i have well over a total of 200 credit hours...... mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it's fair . . . unless you don't consider the education received in K-5 is not valid? about 50% of the teachers in the schools i was in were male teachers......( elementary school ) That's impressive!
