I wasn't even going to dignify Neb's post with an answer. But now I want to stand in solidarity with Shiloh...

2 Timothy 2

23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Nebuchadnezzar, I am sorry you see things the way you do. It breaks my heart. I am praying for you that God will remove the scales from your eyes.

I know it is hard to see anything clearly when you have been brain-washed from day one to believe something, no matter how wrong it may be.

But our God, the God who created the universe and all that is in it, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a caring loving God and He is "able" to teach you the "all things" (truth) if you will only allow Him to.

Father, please teach my brother the truth, that He may know the love You have for Him, just waiting for him to reach out to you and take it. God grant him the wisdom to know that you alone are God and there is no other! That you created him, just as you created the universe, and he means no less to You than anyone else You have created. Fill his heart Lord with Thy overwhelming love and understanding. Grant him peace, comfort His heart Lord that he may know Thy truth. Help him to know that Jesus died for him too because He loved him that much. In Jesus name.

Love you Shiloh!

And you too, Nebuchadnezzar! May you find this peace you are so obviously looking for...God bless. Here is a link I think you would find interesting, if you will read it all: http://www.bible.com/jesus/intimate.html It will show you the huge differences if you read far enough.

This is everyday life in the West Bank and Gaza: homes bulldozed, civilians bombed, people unable to get to the hospital because the hundreds of check points have been closed, children shot with high-powered US rifles

And that's not even half of what Arafat does to them! Keep on preaching it.

I have addressed the false doctrine of you Christian Zionists many times in the past. The doctrine of the death and destruction of the Palestinian people is absolutely not Christian. This is the doctrine of devils! Mass murder, mass theft, mass deportation is not Christianity, you have been deceived! Christianity is about LOVE!

Jesus said to love your neighbor

it is also not the doctrine of Christian Zionism.

You have been deceived if you think it is.

Wake up!

Zionism is one simple to understand concept....get this right.

It is the belief that the jewish people should have a place where they can live in peace.

Do you have a problem with that?

It does not exclude anyone who wishes to live in peace among them. Israel has ALWAYS been a mixed multitude with every law applying equally from the least to the greatest.

Moses gave them this in written form long before America became the "melting pot" of democracy.

This is everyday life in the West Bank and Gaza: homes bulldozed,

The homes of terrorists that is, not just the average Palestinian.

civilians bombed,

1. Civlian does not necessarily mean non combatant.

2. Civilians are killed because they are put in harm's way by the Palestinian terrorists, not because Israel is killing them on purpose.

people unable to get to the hospital because the hundreds of check points have been closed,

They are closed because of the terrorists. The terror committed by these people cause the problems with check points.

children shot with high-powered US rifles

Well, I have scanned the previous posts, and I don't think anyone has yet said this:

The word "Semite" is derived from the name "Shem", the son of Noah. Shem is an ancestor of Abraham. Abraham is the father of the Jews (through his son Isaac) and also of the Arabs (through Ishmael). According to both Jewish and Arab tradition, the present-day animosity between Jews and Arabs stems from the conflict between Hagar (mother of Ishmael) and Sarah (mother of Isaac).

So technically, the term "anti-semitic" refers to both Jews and Arabs. But in the modern parlance, it has come to be understood as referring only to Jews.

The other two sons of Noah (Ham and Japheth) are (according to tradition) each the ancestors of other large civilizations. I don't remember which: Africans and Europeans? Someone out there must know...

Mind you, I'm not trying to take sides in the political debate. But this is the origin of the word.

Actually if you read Gen.10, the Arabs descended from Ham. You can see this elucidated in the NIV Study Bible. The Arabs already existed when Ishmael was born. Semite could not be a reference to Arabs.

See the following link for more info.

Are the Arabs Descended From Ishmael?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
