How can a man be called God How can a God be called a man 1Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. Do you believe in a God of wonders? A God of mystery? A God so beyond our human understanding that He defies scientific logic? A God who performs deeds too great for our minds to grasp, so great that they can only be accepted by faith? Do you suppose it is beyond the ability of God to incarnate Himself in the flesh? They tell us that Jesus Died on a cross How can a God Die when he says I am Im[m]ortal The human body, the garment of flesh, died - not His spirit. How can God be three when he says I am one Did you know that in the Old Testament, God speaks to Himself in the plural? Genesis 11:6,7 - And the LORD said, . . . Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. Why do you suppose that is? Guest Greg Davies
The verses mentioned below say quite clearly that certain individuals suffered severe consequences for their disobedience to God. They were Christians and yet they still suffered for their sin. Do you think that this could only happen to Christians living in the first century, or could this happen to Christians today? Act 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. Co 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep 1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Back to the original question.... Heb 13:8, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Rom 6:23, The wages of sin is death. I John 1:9, If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleans us frim all unrighteousness. Luke 13:5, Look that one up yourself. Guest
Repent I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.Luke 13:5 Confess That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Romans 10:9-10 Believe For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16 See Jesus And Be Blessed Beloved The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 Love, Joe

It appears that those with the closest relationships to God in scripture, feared him greatly. God Worshippers
