I was kind of confused on this topic, because when I read Revelation, I am always wondering if we will be here when the AntiChrist comes and the One World Government rises. I think Armeggedon will begin when Gog Magog wages war with Israel (I think, lol).

If he is going to rise at the time of our being here, what will we do? I am really curious, I need to read Revelation though (again), lol, but any other insight is welcome!

Near

Hi Near,

I believe the one who is to come is already in this world, and Satan's work is being done in this world to prepare the way for this evil one.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-8

6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

It is not the church that retrains this one from being revealed, and I do not believe the Holy Spirit is taken away eiher. I believe the Holy Spirit releases the restraining power He had on the one who is to be revealed, the Holy Spirit does not leave for the Lord say's He will send a comforter which will guide us into understanding the truth. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, so if He has left during the tribulation then none will be saved during that time.

When the ultimate Anti - Christ comes to power we will not be here to see that for God has promised that in His word. The time and rise of this Anti - Christ is mentioned in Daniel 9:27, which is the final week in the 70 week period mentioned. he hour of trial that comes on the whole world in Revelation 3:10, God's word I truth and I believe when He say's He will keep us from this hour He means He will keep us from it.

What I suggest you do as you read Revelation is read all other passages that concern the end times. I find this sight a great resource when studying the word of God. http://www.biblegateway.com/

All you need to do is type in a word and it will bring up all verses with that word, there are other resources you can use with this site but I just use the passage search and keyword search. I hope it comes in handy for you. If you need any other info just PM and I would be happy to help. Plus there are different translations aswell which helps.

God Bless ^_^

Near, we will be here for the reign of the Anti-Christ,that is why we need to give our all to God now,so that he can strengthen us in our faith and in patience, waiting to for his return.

Read Revelation 13:10 this show that the saints will indeed be here during the reign of the Anti -Christ,as well as Revelation 14:12.

They both say''here is the faith and patience of the saints''

If we have already been taken to Heaven what need will there be for sustained faith and or patience

Be very careful about those that teach we will not have to endure the Tribulation, this is a very dangerous teaching that causes the true believer to not prepare their mind, heart, and will for the trouble that is to come.

But there is no need to fear, just as the Jews were exempt from the plagues of the Egyptians,so are we exempt from God's wrath on the unbelieving world but this is by divine protection, not by removal.

Thank you!

I agree, I know in the Bible it says somewhere that some of even the most elect of Christians will be lost...and I think that is due to teachers teaching that we will not be hear during Trib. etc.

Who are the saints.

You have Old Testament Saints

You have New Testament Saints (the church) From the time Christ was crucified. John the Baptist is an Old testament saint.

You have Tribulation Saints these are the ones who Revelation 13 and Revelation 14 are speaking of.

The tribulation saints will need to have patience and faith and endure to the end when the Lord returns.

The church (the bride of Christ) will not go through the tribulation God has promised that to the bride of Christ. On the other hand they will return with the Lord when He comes back to the earth and stands on the Mount of Olives. Revelation 19 the bride is already in heaven prepared and those saints who have come out of the tribulation will join the bride and they together will return with the Lord.

Revelation is plain to understand if you allow the Holy Spirit to open the word to you.

1 Corinthians 14:33

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

The word of God is truth.

John 8:32

And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Trust the word and allow the Holy Spirit to work with in you as your guide. That is why he was sent here to guide us into truth and understanding.

Yes, the Word of God is the plain, simple truth! ^.^

Whenever I read the Bible, my heart warms and I am so happy, even when I read Revelation!

I am going to be so happy when God returns to take us back to Him! I will be hugging Jesus so much my arms are going to fall off, and God too! :)

Hi Near,

I think the verse you are after is Matthew 24:24

Matthew 24:24

For false Christ's and false prophets will arise and will show signs and wonders, so as to mislead, IF possible, even the elect.

Is it possible for the elect to be deceived? No

Why? Because the Holy Spirit is within us and leads us to the understanding of the truth.

Will you be mislead by Satan and his lies? No

Why? Because you have the Holy Spirit within you, you are a child of God and you can not be misleadvby Satan and his deceptions.

Those who belong to God CAN NOT be deceived.

No Born Again Christian will be lost for what is in God's hand can not be taken out of His hand. If you have given your life to God you can not take it back, not even when you sin. You will be punished for unconfessed sin but you will not lose your salvation. If you are a Born Again Christian and endure to the end whether it be the end of your life or the end of time, you are written in the book of life you can not be blotted out.

Romans 8:37-39, Ephesians 2:8-10

It is by God's grace we are saved and there is nothing we can do that will change our status of salvation before God. There is nothing on this earth, above the earth, in the earth or the heavens that can change the status of our salvation. OSAS You can not take your life out of God's hand.

As I said we belong to God we can not and will not be deceived by Satan. We already know the truth we have the bible before us, and we can see all things that are prophecied for the end times coming to frutition.

The bible tells us the Lord is coming which means he is already on His way. Salvation does not depend on whether we believe in a pre-trib, post-trib whatever trib, Salvation depends on whether we believe in the one whom God sent. Jesus Christ for there is salvation in none other, and to believe in Jesus Christ is to believe that He finished everything on the cross, all our punishment was placed on Him, past, present, and future.

Thank you Lord for saving this sinner from the eternal lake of fire. Thank you for taking my punishment upon yourself. I am so undeserving of your love and forgiveness but you came to me in love and forgave me Thank you Lord. :) Amen

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
