Poll on belief in evolution/creation.

What I found most interesting was the fourth paragraph down, where scientists were polled and 5 percent believed in creation, 40 percent in God.

The number of scientists who favor creation is greater than I thought.

You also have to remember that scientists have buzzwords like 'evolution', 'billions' 'millions' drilled into their heads. Like I've stated many times, there is great prejudice as well as descrimination against the Creation Model and that's why many won't even consider it.

In the regular workworld of nonscientists, let's say you have a group of nurses and two say they beleive in a young earth, no one is going to descriminate against them or think ill of them. You have a group of lawyers and half say they believe in a young earth, they will not be ridiculed. You have a group of freelance writers and some say they believe in a young earth, they don't have to fear losing their jobs or not getting their articles published.'

Are you catching my drift?

If you work as a scientist in the field and you admit you believe in a young earth, you would not even believe what can happen. Creation science organizations will advise students heading into the sciences for an education NOT to let educators know of their belief, otherwise they will fail. In fact, a documentary is coming out on the very subject of scientist who favour Intelligent Design over evolution. It's called "Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed and you can see your old favorite Dawkins in an interview on it.

Of those 5% I wonder how many are actually actively researching in a field related to evolution? If I recall correctly most scientists that proclaim a belief in creationism are actually engineers. I highly doubt a civil engineer has much training in evolutionary biology.

Didn't God create everything? That would make 100% of that 95%.
