I don't doubt that a historical person, perhaps called Yeshua Ben Yosef, existed, given some of the historical writings attesting this, but I think that the Jefferson 'Bible', (or its correct title, The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth), written by one of your great founding fathers, is probably closer to the truth than the four Gospels of the Bible.

Why is denying the truthfulness of the Bible not a good idea? Can it get one banned from the site?

I´ve said this before but I´ll say it again, with more emphasis, I do not believe God is alive, I know it! Now, here´s the pitch that is true, anybody can prove me right by doing what God has told us to do! Consider, if you will. God is so powerful that He created this world, the Moon, in fact the entire Cosmos in six twenty-four hour days.

In the midst of the Milky Way, on one planet He created Man and gave him dominion. This man, we´ll call Adam, was made, not physically, but spiritually, is the exact image of God. We´ve all noticed the inbuilt need of ourselves and of other men and women to couple, to love one another, so it is that God loves and desires love in return. Not the physical coupling that Hollywood and the networks sell to be love, God desires to share and to receive the deep seated love man feels for his children, after all, in a manor, all of mankind are His children.

But the thing about love that I´ve found to be true is that for love to prove itself, you must release and see if it returns! Over the past sixty-six plus years I have heard and before conversion, a little over twenty-one years ago, I used some of the many stock answers such as, ¨Why didn´t God just make us all so that we loved Him then instead of giving us a free will?¨ This and all the other questions require a very narrow and thoughtless point of view! If mankind were are all of one kind and we were all made to think one way, we would be robot-like and that automatic worship is not love.

When I met my wife, she was the finest looking thing I had ever seen in my life, I was awe-struck, I was soon to be in love! If it is automatic, it´s a reflex and that is what the Movie Moguls are selling and that is not love! I will die to protect my wife and that is love. In fact that is exactly what God desires from man.

Now, let´s come back to today, how do I prove God? It´s simple but difficult. In the Holy Bible we are instructed to try Him, to test for Him but if we read to understand we also find that we must do it His way. You must first do the hard part and humble yourself. Today, there are few, even in the confines of the Church Building that have humbled themselves and without it, there is no relationship and thus no salvation or love! You must be willing to, in the secret of your house is fine, lower yourself to your knees with your face to the floor and to pray for God to prove Himself to you.

You should expect an answer! If your just going through the motions, He will ignore your request. He might and He might not answer before the day is out... it might be in the coming months. In my case it was the moment I cried out to Him in my emotional pain caused by finding my best friends head in his bookcase, others have had immediate answers and some not so fast but all of us expected an answer and He gave it to us.

The rest is up to you! You can continue these mental gymnastics or you can get real!

Wow you mean as man progresses he learns more, and thus knowledge increases...knowledge always progresses and always will..well im glad that is the case otherwise we would still be in a belief you have and the human race would have died out long ago

It is God who has given the increase to knowledge by fulfillment of His Word[He always keeps His Word!]. Not man's intellect but God's allowance through His Will...

I really hate to tell you this but the collective amount of knowledge pertaining to this cosmos -God is not keeping- for the New Heaven and New Earth are so radically different that we have no thought as even to its beginnings of how it will be...

I also don't know how that you cannot see that which is without end or beginning does not consider amounts as evaluation points toward value... so if you know much or know little the value of each remains equal or the same (the infinite requires unity or oneness)! I realize this rational is 180 degrees out of phase but if thought is going in the wrong direction would it not be concluded that a complete turn around would be the need as the 180^o indicates?
