New Evidence for the Shroud.

I just saw this and thought I would share it with my fellows here.

MILAN, Italy - Italian scientists have found a matching image of a man

But 15 years ago three separate laboratories said carbon dating indicated the shroud was no older than the 13th or 14th century. Researchers concluded the shroud was a hoax created for the hugely profitable medieval pilgrimage business.

This even though the segment of clothe used for the carbon dating was actually a segment taken from the restored clothe that was added after the fire damage...so obviously the carbon dating is going to show the date of the time the clothe was added and not the date of the original shroud.

This debate should be over by now. It's clear that many people will never recognize the autheticity of miraculous images like the Shroud or the image of our Lady of Guadalupe because recognizing they are real equals recognizing there's only one true religion and therefore that conclusion leads to another: will they convert?.

This is why no matter how overwhelming the evidence is, they will never accept it.

Veneration of images - idols, while our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ sits in the heavenlies, and we with Him! Why must people always look down when they should be looking up?!

There's only one true Savior al'right and the manifestations of that single Savior endorse one religion only.

Of course, this fact makes many ppl "uncomfortable"........... well....... guess "God will be God"

and I have asked you before which religion is the one True religion? You never answered that although I am pretty sure of what you are going to say. Its not about religion its about Christ which we all have access to of our own free will. Its not about being Catholic, Baptist, pentecostal etc its about our Acceptance of Christ into our lives and anyone who thinks different is entitled to believe that if they so chose to.

The Bible tells us there is free will but also that there are consequences for what we choose (Deut 30:15-19). Since the beginning there has been one true religion only and that doesn't mean that God is limiting human freedom but that God is giving to us the essence of freedom because Jesus Himself told us:

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Jn 8:32)

So if truth is freedom, the conclusion is that if Jesus Christ founded one Church only, it was that way so we could be freed from all confusion and deception.

Many confused "organism" with "organization." Jesus did not die to start a new organization, He died to start a new organizm. That organizm is the one new man.

Jesus Christ is not the CEO of God, Inc. He is the head of the Body.
