Scientific atheist:

Did he rise from the Dead?

Almost certainly not.

If you call yourself "scientific" you should have a way to demonstrate why you beleive this to be so.

How can you claim He did not? Were you there?

I'll answer this one for Nik..

How often is it you see a dead person rise from the dead? Notice Mr. Nikolai did not infact say without a doubt it was in no way a possibility he said he was "Almost certainly" not "certainly" leaving you option to prove it's certainty.

I hope no one takes offense to my answering someone elses questions.. but I've seen the same questions given to the same person..

Hey I am with Ghost of Henry V111 I don't believe there is such thing as an Atheist....only G-d Himself could exert the right to be one.

Over 500 witnesses are claimed to have seen the ressurected Yeshua/Jesus just after He rose from the dead....and millions upon millions claim to have had an encounter with the risen Christ that has been personal and life changing

Relating to what Senerhu mentioned....On one day Yeshua/Jesus fulfilled 40 prophecies that were written centuries before and we have fragments and scrolls that are proven to be before His birth confirming these things...try manipulating 40 things to fit in with some elaborate hoax..including your own agonizing death...and you don't have to be a Scientist to consider the evidence available here.

Some Christians can be brain-washed.

I don't think Yeshua/Jesus denounced Judaiic life-style or traditions...He just condemned things that got in the way of truth and were in themselves of little importance and He deplored so-called religious leaders life-styles that were so wrapped up in minutiae that they overlooked the weightier matters such as loving ones neighbour.

A good teacher?

He certainly was that, and it would seem, a charasmatic leader.

alright this is my 2 cents To say that all Jesus was was a good teacher or a good leader a moral man, a prophet or anything else other than a liar or a mad man or call Him Lord and Saviour but there are no other options! He claimed to be God over and over! C.S Lweis once said "I am trying here to prevent anyone from saying about him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher , but I don't accept Him claim to be God' That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man would not say the sort of things Jesus said would not be a moral teacher . He would either be a lunatic --on a level witha man who says he is a poached egg ---or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice Either this man was and is the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse." Then Lewis adds: "You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon: or you can call Him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us He did not intend to." So it's either Jesus was a liar and the biggest player ever. He was a lunatic and out of His mind or He was actually God. You make your choice but none of this about Jesus being a good teacher.

Could you explain your reasoning for that statement?

Ghost.. Why must he have reasoning to dismiss Jesus merely as a Cult leader mad man bent on turning men into suicidal maniacs that travel the world in his name... Men rely soley on reason.. It's very understandable that he would want such a thing.

REASONING? WHY DO I NEED REASONING TO BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE NO ATHIESTS.

Typical. Don't make vague statements if you can't back them up with reasoning.

And let go of the Caps Lock key.

I'll give you my answer to that question. You cannot say there is no God because you don't know... honestly you don't. To make a claim that there is no God you would have to know everything. If that were the case you would be God. that's my reasoning

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
