IT SEEMS THE POPULAR VIEW OF HEAVEN RESEMBLES GREEK MYTHOLOGY AND NOT SCRIPTURE.

2KINGS 6: 15-17

15 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"

16 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Isa 66:1

Thus says the Lord: "Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

Ac 7:49

'Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord, Or what is the place of My rest?

MATT: 5: 34-35

34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

Lu 3:21

Greetings ResurrectionHope,

First you fail to distinguish between the 3 heavens. The atmosphere above and around us is the first, the second is from the earths atmosphere to the ends of the universe, and the third is what we commonly refer to as Heaven and the abode of God.

Second, you use metaphorical verses to establish your contention. I am not the scholar as some are, so you might want to check with someone like CRI's Bible Answer Man, Hank Hannagraaf, or R.C. Sproul or the Reverand D. James Kennedy, et al, before you make such assertions without any foundation in reality.

That is also a myth. The third heaven is future the first heaven is past and the second heaven is present.

Its like this, take a piece of pie. the arch of the piece is the earths time line the point of the piece is heaven the left straight line is the first heaven the time line of earth is the present heaven and the right straight line is the third heaven. but now we know that heaven and earth will pass away

.Mt 5:18

For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Mt 24:35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Mr 13:31

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Lu 21:33

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away

useing the piece of pie. you can also see that no mater when a person dies from abel to ? on earths time line arch. They reach heaven at exactly the same time.

1Co 1:27

After the kingdom of heaven. (The third heaven) ( The meliniel reign of CHRIST). The LORD creates a whole new thing. No more heaven and earth. Just the LORD and his people.

1 Corinthians 2

2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 2 Corinthians 12:2

Given this verse, how can third heaven be future?

Given that scripture It makes perfect sence. If I am missing something please explain. caught up is a old english way of saying taken and delivered.
