What gets me is the next time someting happens all will cry whay did God let it happen And what will we as christians say?? it just breaks my heart that this country is lost and only an mercial from God can save it, but the question is WILL HE ???? But I'm right there with you - marriage is no longer a commitment and is no longer taken as seriously as it should be (I remember a gameshow where you had to marry a complete stranger and with divorces surely to follow right after...), violence, sex, and vulgarity is rampant and accepted on TV, and then there's things like people willingly putting poison into their bodies (ciggarettes, drinking too much, ect) it just makes me really sad. When I add that to what's going on in my private life, right when I need that much more faith, it destroys my faith instead of strenghtening it. I know it says God won't put more on us than we can handle. That's so easy to say when you aren't going thru it. I've prayed myself out. I pray just in case He's listening.
