The primary difference between an unborn fetus and a newborn baby is their location. Both are entirely dependent on another person's care for them to survive. Another difference is that the mother is the only one nourishing the fetus while anyone could nourish a baby that has been born. But both are entirely dependent human beings. Neither one will grow into any other type of adult being other than human, provided that their environment does not contribute to their death before reaching adulthood.

From what I gather from the article, "doctors" would have to explain this to the mother. And since according to Romans 8:6-8,

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

those "doctors" are actually incapable of complying with the law.

Does anyone have statistics on how long a person waits on average to adopt a newborn baby?

Yeah, I saw that they closed the clinic themselves. My question was, why won't they work under these legal terms? If what they're doing is ok - and in their minds it must be else they wouln't do it - why not comply with the law?

Personally I've no issue with abortion and don't think people should be forbidden from having them, within reasonable legal constraints. This law from South Dakata seems quite reasonable. Why aren't the doctors performing the operation as reasonable?

The proof is in the pudding. If they cared about the women, as you say, they would not have a problem with the new law.

The fact that they have a problem with it is sure evidence that all they care about is "the business" and not the women.

Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

If ever there is a time to catch what the flipside in heaven will be like, it is this. What rejoicing there must be going on up there. :emot-questioned:

This News does my heart good. :emot-questioned:

Peace,

Perhaps that's the case. How sad that healthcare in the US is all private. Abortions done on the NHS in the UK have always had this information supplied, as with all operations and treatments.

All operations and treatments here have sufficient information supplied to the patient prior to the procedure... with the exception of abortion. It has nothing to do with privatized healthcare and everything to do with a political agenda. Babies are dying and women's lives are put at risk without sufficient information all in the name of politics NOT privitization. However, this kind of agenda needs to be fought. I'm glad one of our states is taking the lead on this.

Here we go again with the same old tired arguments about back alley abortions, etc. Anti-life people don't care at all about the innocent life that is being brutally murderd. Most of the women seeking abortions had the choice to have sex or not. Yes, there are a few exceptions, very very few, before we get into that.
